The first Thor movie was surprisingly good, so I'm looking forward to this.

And from what I've heard they're going in a different direction with the Asgard stuff, which was the weakest part of the first film in my opinion.

there's a DVDScreener of "The Place Beyond The Pines" floating around. definitely give it a peep. problem is that it's limited in theaters right now. this movie will shake you, it's a monster story. great acting, great story, great music (Mike Patton, The Cryin' Shames, Bon Iver etc). I think you Aussies get it May 9th. trust me on this one.

Got halfway through it yesterday before being interrupted but I really enjoyed it. Hope to finish it tomorrow.

Lol I get that all the time, when people ask me what is one of my fav bands. When I mention I get this strange look. Â As for Thor, being a comic book fan I thought it was weak. Asgard was not discussed in depth and the acting was poor. Just my two cents.Has anyone noticed the guy wearing the TOOL shirt I'm movie 43?? I think they actually poryrayed that character to be a Tool, which is gay in my opinion. Place beyond the pines was boss, mike Patton did well with the moods for sure

That looks interesting, but I question whether that could make a 90 minute movie. It seems like it could get boring after awhile.

I like the idea, but I don't feel like it's going to be explored as thoroughly as it could be. Just looks like a retread of The Strangers.

not even close. in that movie you had a hope that the police would show up, all emergency services are suspended. excellent twist. but like my friend Joe says "I'm not impressed because it's like that 24/7 in South Jamaica Queens" haha.

Alejandro Jodorowsky’s The Dance Of Reality, the filmmakers first film in 23 years. At the age of 84, Jodorowsky who hasn’t made a film since 1990′s The Rainbow Thief, has returned to his hometown of Tocopilla in the Chilean desert to create a kind of magic-realist memoir of his father, Jaime Jodorowsky.

“Movies really don’t get much worse than Nicholas Winding Refn‘s ‘Only God Forgives’,†wrote Hollywood Elsewhere’s Jeffrey Wells. “It’s a sh-- macho fantasy — hyperviolent, ethically repulsive, sad, nonsensical, deathly dull, snail-paced, idiotic, possibly woman-hating, visually suffocating, pretentious. I realize I sound like Rex Reed on one of his rants, but trust me, please — this is a defecation by an over-praised, over-indulged director who thinks anything he craps out is worthy of your time. I felt violated, s*** upon, sedated, narcotized, appalled and bored stiff.â€
That and according to Hollywood.com’s Matt Patches, apparently Ryan Gosling only has 17 lines of dialogue.
