Re: What are you watching? Film/TV
Series i've seen so far:
Dexter 7/10, last season was bad, really bad.
Breaking Bad 9/10, Amazing throughout the entire time.
The Office 8/10, It's not the same without Michael.
Lost 6/10, very confusing.
Prison Break 7/10, the first season was amazing.
Any suggestions on what I should watch next? I'm currently on episode one on 24, seems ok so far.

Watched Gravity last night, it was ok but hopefully won't be winning any academy awards. 7/10.

I really enjoyed that but I have never been a fan of sandra bullock I find her really annoying.hellboy wrote:Watched Gravity last night, it was ok but hopefully won't be winning any academy awards. 7/10.
Re: What are you watching? Film/TV
I didn't mind her performance, I just felt behind the admittedly excellent special effects was a reasonably predictable action flick.

You're missing out if you didn't watch it at the cinema

Re: What are you watching? Film/TV
I did miss out on the cinema viewing experience of the movie which would probably have been a lot better than watching it on a home TV screen. I still gave it an 8/10.

I'm sure I am, and as I said I was impressed with the effects. That doesn't makeup for the rest of the movies flaws though. Not Tyson wrote:You're missing out if you didn't watch it at the cinema

Until Google releases a Hellboy Translation Engine: "That still doesn't make up for the rest of the movie's flaws".hellboy wrote:I'm sure I am, and as I said I was impressed with the effects. Saw it at the cinema in 3D. It was rad! The editing was superb, flawless. APC should learn from this DVD.TheBirdman wrote:I am currently watching metallica's through the never.

Those flaws are a non entity for me, as I stated when I saw it, it was basically a carnival ride that would never suit the small screen.hellboy wrote:I'm sure I am, and as I said I was impressed with the effects. One of the main reasons I saw Pacific Rim at the cinema as well.
Yet a major regret I have is not seeing Speedracer at the cinema, watching on the small screen was amazing, can't believe I thought it looked stupid (it did though).
But disregard my opinion, I saw the first G.I. Joe at the cinema and thought it was fucking amazing for the film it was, took me back to my childhood.
Pew pew.
Re: What are you watching? Film/TV
without spoiling anything there was a point towards the end of the movie where if it should've tied up. then it continued on into ridiculousness. not a big fan. "All Is Lost" was a much better movie which got NONE of the publicity. Robert Redford is still a bad mother fucker.hellboy wrote:Watched Gravity last night, it was ok but hopefully won't be winning any academy awards. 7/10.
