Maybe Jhonny Peralta could ship some of his Biogenics steroids and hgh over to the O's. Maybe that'd help 'em get in.

That or playing 38 games against the White Sox and Twins to help pad their record.

you get as many games against Torontblo and NewPork.

What, now you're gonna tell me those teams are good?

16 games against Toronto.....

8 and 8

...not good...should take care of that weak opponent but you CAN'T.

Against NY(P)

19 games and...

sub-500 at 9-10.

Gonna have to better than that.
Hell, you have a winning record against Boston
but what's really gonna chap your ass as you watch my Tigers take the hardware
is how much opportunity the O's left on the table against
Tampa Bay.

15 games thus far and only 6-9

reverse those numbers and throw in a 4-2 record against the Mariners instead of 2-4 like you are now?
You're in.......

and you've got to admit, Cleveland and DC's Kansas City Royals haven't exactly rolled over and died this year.

Bahahahahahaha. Comparing the Yanks and Jays to the Twins and Sox? Bahahahahahahahaha. Both of those AL East teams will finish with better records than the Twins and Sox. Hell, 4 East teams are gonna finish over .500. Tigers are lucky that Bud Selig isn't smart enough to have a more balanced schedule or else the HGH'd Tigers may have a tougher time. But alas that's neither here nor there.

Of course even if the O's don't make the post season this year (though if Jim Johnson wasn't a mental midget and only blew 1/2 of the games he's lost the O' would easily be in the drivers seat for the post season) at least the O's have never had a season where they put up only like 50ish wins. Eeeek.

So many holes, which one to fuck.
You know what?
Never mind.
It is no use.
They all play the same number of games.
You played Houston just like everyone else.
You've gone with the weak division argument
all season and all you have is a fourth place finish
and another missed chance.

I think that whole onthefieldcelebrationwithafuckingtv thing cast a
dark shadow over your chances.
Not the Tigers fault, sowwy.

fuckstick

not gonna make the playoffs, just like your
hockey team this year.

NOT GONNA MAKE IT!

I just saw that my Rangers have a better record vs. the Red Sox and Rays than they do against the Huge Sox and Jays. What the fudge. If they miss the playoffs, well they deserve to.

Edit: heh, White* Sox not Huge Sox

"Schaub" is now a verb.

Man, Phillip Rivers really schaubed it up against the Raiders!

I fucking hate Gary Kubiak, his job got saved by lucking into an undrafted bad ass named Arian Foster. Any semi intelligent coach would've benched Schaub right after that terrible pick 6 on his first (first!) throw of the game. What a waste of a damn good roster.

There's a big argument going on right now in this country about the Washington D.C.-based NFL team having the nickname, 'Redskins.'

What would be a better, more appropriate, name for a NFL team from the capital of The United States of America?

The Idiots? Plain, simple, truthfull, representative of the nature of the town.

The Racists? They did decide at one point and for years subsequently, that 'Redskins' was appropriate. Sheesh! Evolve much? Guess not.

What about the Assholes?

Or 'The Murder!' Quick, to the point, like a knife wound in the gut.

Yeah, I like that!

The 'Murder.'

"The Washington Murder vs. The Dallas Cowboys, tonight on Monday Night Football!

Bring a mop!

There's a great article on The Onion about that.

Basically: "Due to the controversy going on they've decided to change their name to the D. C. Redskins"

Bunch of white liberal guilt is all it is. Whenever polled, a large majority of a Native Americans say the name doesn't offend them and/or are proud of the term and/or team. Followed than by slim numbers either being indifferent about the name or offended.

Just a bunch of white, PC pussies trying to drum up controversy and clicks on their websites/blogs.
