Argentina continue to find a way to win. Solid defense. Belgium will learn from this tournament and do more damage next WC.

What a finish! I couldn't sit down. CR did all they could. The Dutch were the better team but hot damn was that ending awesome. Semis will be the shit!!!!!

They weren't better by much. For all the shots they took, it was amazing that they couldn't get any in.

I really wanted Costa Rica to win. Very disappointed.

Recap:
Germany - France & Argentinia - Belgium were carbon copies.
Brasil - Colombia was tense. Colombia played bad in the first half, I dislike Scolari (refs should protect Neymar but has Fernandinho kicking Rodriguez around the place), Neymar out. Not that I am fan but that's not cool to happen.
Netherlands - Costa Rica. Before the game Louis said: "Do no make a goal, I want to do cool stuff before the penalties."
Almost believable. No, the Dutch should've settled it in 90 minutes, but alas, the Dutch defeated their world championship penalty syndrom.

On Costa Rica:
won vs Uruguay (world champions 1930 + 1950)
won vs Italy (world champions 1934 + 1938 + 1982 + 2006 & european champions 1968)
draw vs England (world champions 1966)
won vs greece (european champions 2004)
loss vs the Netherlands (european champions 1988)

Pretty cool run to be proud of.
