FourthEye got a shout out! I'm kind of over the whole problem 8 thing, although I do think it has some truth behind it. Not a buried box or something. But I do think it was a song the band did. I don't think it's hidden anywhere though.

I'm glad Blair mentioned a live dvd. Not that it means much coming from him, but it is cool to at least see it mentioned with a new album and video, both of which we know are happening.

Blair mentions fourtheye pretty often.

Aftershock fest in Sacramento is also getting Tool. 3 shows planned before that, but not sure what those are.

The Aftershock announcement will be on June 7th at 12PM PST.

Not sure about Aftershock, but I've had a friend of a friend type source tell me it'll be a 4 show "tour"

I don't think there's many now, as it'd be pretty unusual for a big name to be part of a second wave of announcements. Names I've heard thrown about are Voodoofest, Salt Lake City, Denver and CA.

Unless they're playing all festivals, getting a ticket to a 4 show stint is going to be a nightmare...but I'm down if anywhere near my neck of the woods

Yeah, I dunno what the deal is. I'd expect at least one is a festival. Perhaps it's Aftershock and Voodoofest - I haven't looked up the timing of these two fests. To me a four show tour seems quite strange, and I expect this is just a quick jaunt to capitalise on some money being thrown their way

I heard they're secret shows that won't be announced until 24 hours before the show. And it's just the three instrumental members plus the singers from Chevelle and Queensryche. No Maynard

System of a Down and The Prodigy were both second wave announcements for Riot Fest last year. Fingers (and toes) still crossed.

Not sure if I posted it here or not, but another band on the bill leaked Devo and Beck as being on the lineup, so I suspect they are the second wave announcements.

Just in case anyone is wondering, Maynard has an interview in the latest issue of Kerrang, coinciding with Puscifer tour of Europe. I had a read of it this arvo, and can confirm that there's no Tool talk of any note inside it. So save yourself the money unless you're a MJK/Puscifer die-hard.

So if Voodoo is last, Aftershock is second to last and let's assume they'll play both Riot Fests.. it looks something like this.

Sep 02-04 - Denver, CO - Riot Fest
Sep 16-18 - Chicago, IL - Riot Fest
??? - ??? - ???
Oct 22-23 - Sacramento, CA - Aftershock Festival
Oct 28-30 - New Orleans, LA - Voodoo Festival
