Run The Jewels – Meow The Jewels
"We knew this was really happening, but oh shit, now it’s really happening. El-P and Killer Mike’s Meow The Jewels, a remix project that reimagines their music with sampled cat sounds, is now available for free download and stream." (NahRight.com)
Oh dats good. Real good. Slow crunchy pummeling riffage. Australia continually delivering new quality shit. Art as Catharsis FTW. Looking forward to the Sheltering Sky release as well. I think you posted this a few weeks back. Fantastic.

^ Gotta give Hellboy the props on that find. Loving all the small label/DIY shit coming out of Australia. Really quality scene happening down there. Just so much good music in general out right now. Bandcamp has changed the game. And I have no doubt Fourtheye has turned many a peep onto some quality new music. Looking forward to peeps wearing those Fourtheye T-Shirts and hopefully seeing it drive more traffic to the site. Right now I think the average Tool fan that has heard of FE that doesn't frequent it obviously thinks of it as a Tool forum/site, and I understand and respect that for most it is. But for me Fourtheye is much more than that. I would love to see it grow to the point where people would be coming here for music reviews and recommendations before the regular spots.
It makes me happy to think that maybe someone got turned onto a band that I posted about here. Not so much for me, rather just the fact that the band I am posting about is getting exposure. And while I have grown away from Tool, I will be the first to say that I think Tool fans in general are some of the most opened minded when it comes to different kinds of music. All the recommendations in the Bandcamp, New Music and What are You Listening to threads certainly reflect that

I don't like their name so I assume they're awful. My assumptions are right almost half the time.

I'm not sure I would be bragging about either of those things, Malcolm.
