@ LimeyGringo - I say "Hell yes!" to the Zappa. Â It's been entirely too long since I gave him a good listening to.

I know it's not "cool" to like NIRVANAÂ on this forum, but I absolutely adore the band and the song. Life wasn't all that easy back then (I was living by myself in a one-bedroom apartment at the age of fifteen and a half, struggling through high school so I could get into uni), but this band and other 90s bands pulled me through a lot.
They also gave me the opportunity to learn guitar and make friends with other like-minded dudes.
The number of times that me and my friends got drunk with a few guitars, had NIRVANA cranked, and laughed our asses off, would make your head spin.
Kurt was the first musician I had come across that I felt (back when I was really young, remember), that really "got" me. I know that sounds fucking dumb, and it was. Still made me feel a little more validated.
Now I realise that "God" hates us all equally, and I don't need that fucking comfort anymore.

I actually posted that to test out how to embed for AOTW. This song has some of my all time favorite vocal harmonies. Rarely is anything both silly and brilliant like that.

I was at the concert at the end of this clip. And that's my friend Philip that I pushed on to the stage that Gibby is kicking. Thing is Philip didn't know who the hell they were and was just an annoying dickhead but he just turned up, I had Locust Abortion Technician so I was awesome. I remember seeing Steve Albini there but I didn't know who he was at that time so I was just talking to him, I think he was surprised and had a weird look on his face.
Butthole Surfers were a malevolent band, I bought a live vinyl album of them and I'm assuming the cover was light sensitive, because I got it off the shelf and the cover had changed into an alien. I was a bit stoned and it really really freaked me out, but there you go!

I contend the true magnitude of Nirvana is
Yet to be revealed.
I also contend Nirvana, nay, Cobain not only himself knew how good/important they were becoming, quickly but, more importantly, felt it.
And that was a lot of pressure.
And this is heavy.
I want more of this!
Like fucking Oliver with his empty bowl extended out because his belly is still rumblin'...!!!!!!
