What exactly? Have Dwarves? Have Hobbits? Use subtitles? Film in IMax? Film in 3d? Use trademark and copyright symbols? Film in New Zealand? Adapt fantasy novels? Use CGI?

Yeah, I don't get that either. I'm assuming it's scenes that are there to show off how good the movie, but I don't really know.

In order to do this job we'll need to be 2 Fast 2 Furious.
It's a Sharknado: The Second One.
I'll have to be Batman: Forever.
In order to do this job we'll need to be Coyote Ugly.
We call him Robocop 2.
You have to help us! We're on Schindler's List!
In order to do this job we'll need to be Star Wars: A New Hope.

How far do you go Tyson?
Irene: What do you do?
Driver: I drive.
Irene: Like a limo driver?
Driver: No, like, for movies.
Irene: Oh. You mean all the car chases and stuff?
Driver: Yeah.
Irene: Isn't that dangerous?
Driver: It's only part-time. Mostly I work at a garage.
But, yeah, in the hobbit it is a bit more stretched. Then again, words are wind.

One of these is an actual quote (sort of). Do you know which one it is?

This orange juice tastes strange, there's no pulp, you could say it's a mother fucking pulp fiction!
When I first saw Kurtz it wasn't a matter of apocalypse when, it was more a case of apocalypse now

I've suffered enough after the first and only viewing. Now it's your turn.

You're on a rampage with movies lately, and I don't know why.
Fun to watch, though.

you're not the only person who thought so. MAD SPOILERS. obviously. great review though.
this is currently a 9.0 on imdb by users and a 76 meta. impressive for a bunch of characters (and a director) most non-Marvel heads have never heard of.
so now James Gunn has under his belt (as a writer), Dawn Of The Dead (remake), Slither, Super and GOTG. most impressive.

I'm just sick of movies lately shoehorning in the title of the movie for no reason, always takes me out of the movie

Just got back from Guardians of the Galaxy.
All I'm going to say it's pretty close to being on Star Wars level, maybe even better.
Gotta see it again.
6 bags of popcorn and 2 sodas.

Gonna hit the last season of "CALIFORNICATION" tonight. It's been an incredibly bad afternoon, so this kind of escapism and two bottles of wine should be just what the doctor ordered.

I don't expect my big blockbuster movies to be that, as I explained before troll.
Yes NYHC, Thanos was fucking awesome!

I've never liked "STAR WARS", even as a kid. I'd probably be able to enjoy it now were it not for the blind fanaticism the internet has with it.
Which is boring to the point of hilarity, when you think about it.
I bet "STAR WARS" fans also like bacon. My sides!

Well think of this way, Guardians of the Galaxy is on par with the most highly regarded sci-fi epic of all time.
And lol at Hellbois cynicism over this film, wishing something to fail, haters to left.

I was mostly joking. I gather I would adore this movie.
Glad you enjoyed it.

It put me in an amazing mood as well, it had it flaws, but all films do.
I was surprised at the turnout for my town, but it was the first showing of only three this weekend. So many nerds.
I was basically the last to arrive and there was this frumpy chick reading in the far left corner by herself during the previews, I should have made a move.
