Well and with spoilers :
The moment that X-Wing arrived I felt the force tremble. I reckon that because of that Darth Vader scene in Rogue One they wanted to give Luke also a similar bad-ass scene.
I'd be a liar if I said I wasn't a little disappointed it was Luke. I was kinda hoping for some crazy-ass longshot from Clone Wars or something. The rumor i was hearing was Cal Kestis from the Fallen Order games, which would have been cool, but a lot of people might not have known who that is. It was nice to see him be incredibly badass with his lightsaber

So, after the Mandalorian season 2 ended the family suggested to watch all Star Wars movies again. Hurray.

So, with that, the quick recap:

The Phantom Menace snoozed until that door opened and Dark Maul ignited his lightsabre. No actor, aside of McDiarmid and Neeson, really seemed happy in their role.
Attack of the Clones better then I remembered. It might be because of Beskar armour. And, aside of the disasterous dialogues of Anakin & Padme, most of the action moment were quite good. (Not the dino battle). McGregor took the Obi-Wan mantle this time.
Revenge of the Sith Still awesome. Hayden finally managed to act in most scenes. And McDiarmid just owns the trilogy (aside of that weird look when Mace fried him) and McGregor is Obi-Wan. The Anakin vs Obi-Wan duel is awesome (ignore the show-off skills).

Solo nice sci-fi movie in which Ehrenreich did a pretty good job as young Solo. Nothing great but fun enough.
Rogue One still an awesome movie. Felicity is great as Jyn with a nice supporting cast. And one the finest battles of the whole saga on Scarif.

A New Hope nostalgia! As a classic still great but I wonder if this movie would be made nowadays (with modern budget) if the impact would be as immense as it did back then. I think not.
Empire Strikes Back such an improvement in terms of production. Excellent. I forgot how much of a clown Yoda was in his opening minutes.
Return of the Jedi the opening took a bit of to long but once the final battle starts a friggin cool ending to the trilogy. And Luke vs Darth Vader is a well executed duel.

The Force Awakens A New Hope for a younger generation. A bit to much of a copy paste but I really do like this movie. It sets-up enough to get this trilogy going. And Adam Driver. The duel in the snow had a good visual.
The Last Jedi best movie of this trilogy! Check that Luke action, it is Yoda! I love the visual style in this movie. The casino time was shorter then remembered. Mary Poppins was accepted this time because we needed a Luke & Leia scene, though I would've executed it somewhat different. Adam Driver is an awesome Kylo Ren and so much more interesting then Rey (or Darth Vader...). Excellent layered movie. With the Kylo vs Luke image in landscape format is the best visual in the whole saga.
The rise of Skywalker Pity. They should've done the Treverow version from what I gathered. TFA & TLJ created a perfect set-up: Kylo as the supreme leader (which Darth Vader never was), with Luke telling him "see you around" and Rey being the last jedi alive. But none of this. Rey being a Palpatine fit nowwhere with her reaction to the lightsabre. If she was a clone of Luke dna it would've been better (heck, this still could be a Palp ploy). The duel in the ocean was good. The first part of the movie too rushed. The end battle lacked. And Palp opening yet again a window to watch a space battle turned into a weird fetish of him.

1. Empire Strikes Back
2. The Last Jedi
3. Revenge of the Sith

My son and I thoroughly dug The Mandalorian S1 & 2. Been avoiding this thread for spoilers.

Sounds like she's a pretty crap person. It's not a compelling character, so no huge loss.

ya, lots of backlash over it but comparing herself to holocaust victims with the picture she put was kinda stupid. she was warned already cause she was basically saying people were brainwashed by the government for wearing masks.

The rumours of the drama with Pedro Pascal is more interesting then this one. seemed to smoothed out and no one really knows for sure what happened but it seems he caused a stink or two.

So why exactly was she booted, what did she do that was so terrible. I saw a post where she commented on how easily people were made to hate other people and do terrible things, was this the reason, or was it something else.

Amongst other things (and as noted above) she reshared a post that seemed to suggest having a differing political view was akin to being Jewish during the Holocaust. Rightly or wrongly, making ill considered posts about the Holocaust is a good way to get blacklisted in Hollywood

Yeah probably not the smartest career move to choose that subject matter to make a point.

I hope everything stays ok with Pedro, i dont mean cause of this Gina thing. It started with him apparently wanting his face to be shown cause he didnt want to be known as a voice actor. Then half way thru Season 02 more rumours started, saying things were escalating again but everything worked out,who knows. It all could be exaggerated but it seems hes a bit demanding or causes some shit over stuff. Something had to of happened. ah well, as long as it comes back and the shows still awesome. Female commando blew it, baaha...

As cool as the Mandolorian was, I'm not sure I care enough about any of the actors/characters to be overly concerned if they change or are written out.

For Pedro it will all be about money. The serie became a success. He wants to let the audience know who is playing the lead character. Not only the audience but also other studios.

you like the butchy ones Tyson ? baah! I wouldnt want to see Pedro go. I dont like it when they recast someone, its not the same. Hes got a vibe going and you'd be able to tell the difference. Im fine with the Cara Dune character not being around. She was ok but i can live without her. i hope it doesnt effect the show too much. Sometimes u dont think it will but then they get someone else thats not as good and you'll notice then. true though, shes not overly a big part of things, so.

Her character could have been substituted for any other and it would have still been great. She didn't really add any dimension to the show that isn't easily replaced.
