fortysixand2 wrote:My only gripe with the last leg is that they played too many songs from Money Shot. They played damn near the whole thing. I know they're touring in support of the album but they left out classics like Dozo, The Undertaker, Polar Bear, Momma Sed, Potions, and Queen B. Flippant was a nice surprise, though. I'm guessing the setlist will mostly stay the same for Europe but we'll see.
I listened to moneyshot a ton before the concert, so when they played the entire album live it was awesome. I knew all the songs, and i knew them well enough to notice the differences when played live. Yeah they didnt play ALL of their old stuff, but they scattered some throughout. Youre right though, they are promoting an album, so what did you really expect. Here is the setlist they played at the show i went to:

Simultaneous
Galileo
Agostina
Vagina Mine
Horizons
The Arsonist
The Remedy
Life of Brian (Apparently You Haven't Seen)
Rev 22:20
Grand Canyon
Polar Bear
Breathe
Toma
Telling Ghosts
Money Shot
Man Overboard
The Undertaker

ENCORE:
Smoke and Mirrors
Autumn

Tuesday 31st June 2016 - Camden Roundhouse, London

Notes: Every 4 or 5 songs was broken up by wrestling or plastic chicken fighting.
Carina strutting around in a suit, reminded me slightly of Leeloo from 5th Element. (EDIT: not Leeloo...Pris from Bladerunner, she had some weird thing across her eyes...anyway still hot!) Is it weird I find her attractive?!
MJK looks like he is loving Pus, his vocals are amazing (promising for new Tool)

1) Simultaneous
2) Galileo
3) Agostina
4) Vagina Mine
5) Horizons
6) The Arsonist
7) The Remedy
8) Life of Brian (Apparently You Haven't Seen)
9) Rev 22:20 (Carina Lead)
10) Grand Canyon
11) The Rapture
12) Breathe
13) Toma
14) Telling Ghosts
15) Flippant
16) Conditions of My Parole
17) Money Shot
18) Man Overboard

19) The Humbling River
20) Autumn (MJK dedicates to Alan Rickman)

Hm more or less the exact same setlist. I'm ok with that, could've been much better but i'll live. The show in Stockholm is now more or less sold out, only a few balcony spots left.

Also, looks like we'll be getting some BBC recordings. Neat! Please don't be Toma.

I like Toma! Could be just an interview rather than a recording (though I'd be cool with both)

The other members also posted on social media, they had the whole set with drums etc so i'm pretty positive they played a live session.

People don't usually bring pedal boards to an interview either

You never know when you might need a pedal board.

Maynard just wanted to add some fuzz to his answers.

Full stream from Rock am Ring. Maynard's singing technique looks really weird, has he had any proper vocal training ever?

Not sure what you're referring to Ettan. The singing seems pretty "normal" to me.

In regards to vocal training - I suspect he has had some in recent times to combat the natural deficiencies in his voice as he ages, but I don't think this has been confirmed anywhere. Perhaps in his Bio?

That's some really well-shot footage.

Must stick in MJK's craw, what with his whole no pictures/video policy.

It's weird because he's been liking and retweeting a lot of photos from European fans lately. Maybe because it's their first time in Europe.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure when he talked about insufferable retards he was referring to Americans.

^stoked for you Ettan! My advice is to enjoy the wrestling. I know it's not everybody's favorite thing but accept it and get into it and it makes the show a lot better. I personally grew up watching wrestling so I really got into it and booed and hissed and cheered the whole time.

Be sure to oil yourself up first. Don't make it easy for them to grab you.
