Lol, funnily enough though it does appear to be the same price (in Euros anyway) as the Fear inoc vinyl set.

Remedy and Rockstar Games Announce Max Payne 1 and 2 Remake for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X
Max Payne returns.

Remedy and Rockstar Games have announced they will be remaking Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne.

In a surprise announcement Remedy will work with Rockstar under a new publishing agreement to remake the first two Max Payne games for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. Remedy will handle development while Rockstar will finance the project "which will be in line with a typical Remedy AAA-game production."

The Max Payne remakes will also be developed on Remedy's Northlight game engine, the same engine used to develop Control and the upcoming Alan Wake 2.

"We were thrilled when our long-time friends at Remedy approached us about remaking the original Max Payne games," said Rockstar founder Sam Houser. "We are massive fans of the work the Remedy team has created over the years and we can't wait to play these new versions."

Remedy CEO Tero Virtala added, "Max Payne has always held a special place in the hearts of everyone at Remedy, and we know the millions of fans worldwide feel the same."

Virtala added that the team is excited to "bring the story, action and atmosphere of the original Max Payne games back to players in new ways."

The project is sounding like a full remake given that it will be developed on Remedy's newest engine, and it will have a matching AAA budget. It's tantalizing to imagine the original Max Payne games built using the same engine as Control and Alan Wake 2.

Remedy has had a succesful run as of late with Game of the Year 2019 winner Control and a new partnership with Epic Games for Alan Wake 2. Now, Remedy will return to another beloved franchise with the Max Payne remakes.

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge Gets Release Window, New Gameplay

Developer Tribute Games and publisher Dotemu have announced that TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, the upcoming spiritual successor to the classic late-'80s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game and NES port, will be released this Summer for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

They have also confirmed that the voices actors who played the Turtles in the classic 1987 animated TV series will return for this game.

Furthermore, Dotemu has confirmed that a physical release will be made available alongside the usual digital marketplaces and that a digital soundtrack will be on offer too. And to top it all off, we have 10 minutes of new gameplay to show off, consisting of the first two stages.

TMNT: Shredder's Revenge was announced just over a year ago. It isn't a direct sequel to the legendary four-player co-op arcade game (nor its beloved NES port), but it's being made as if it would've come out then, complete with its pixel-art graphics. And when it releases this Summer, you'll hear the familiar voices of Cam Clarke (Leonardo), Townsend Coleman (Michelangelo), Barry Gordon (Donatello), and Rob Paulsen (Raphael).

Square Enix Sells Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montréal, And More, Including Tomb Raider IP, To Embracer Group

Embracer Group has entered into an agreement to acquire Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montréal, and Square Enix Montréal from Square Enix alongside a catalog of intellectual properties that includes Tomb Raider, Deus Ex, Thief, and more than 50 others too.

Embracer Group is paying $300 million for these studios and associated IPs and it's doing it on a “cash and debt-free basis, to be paid in full at closing,” according to the company. In total, this acquisition will result in roughly 1100 employees from these three studios, across eight locations around the world, becoming Embracer Group employees. This purchase is expected to close during the second year of Embracer’s 2022-23 financial year, or in other words, sometime between July and September of this year.
