Culling Voices instead of The Patient? Ouch. Culling Voices is such a weak song. I'd rather hear Schism for the 100th time over that snoozefest. I hope it's not a permanent part of the setlist.

So cool they played it and how they did it, but it's definitely towards the bottom of the list of songs I'd want to hear. Brutal losing The Patient to it!

C'mon buddy... yer just bitter for being dropped from the set list....

I really, really want 7empest tonight, but I'm pretty sure it's not coming. I'm OK with that.

I don't think that highly of Culling Voices either, but would be happy seeing it live. It looked like a really cool moment. I'd have been happy if they'd just done the first half of the song, and then skip the heavier bits

Agree, I LOVE the song until the heavy bit where it becomes the worst song they've got other than Sober.

I’m happy to see anything new in the setlist, especially a song never played live before.

^ Enjoy mate. wouldnt rule out 7empest. They're throwing a few surprises into the tour so far, so ya never know.

Culling voices is my least favourite on the new one, but that looks like it'd be a killer moment to witness live. When have we EVER seen the band sitting together in a small circle like that playing before? I mean Maynard is front of stage singing for the first time in how long, and this is all before ya add Danny mother fucking Carey playing the guitar?!

Also, that bass line when Justin kicks in is spectacular.

Weird
Culling Voices is great.

And don't get me wrong 7empest is a great song which I really would to hear live but to me it isn't better than Culling Voices.

So, yeah, both great.

Sober for the first time this tour. It killed, but I would have preferred Opiate.

I have been to 2 Tool shows, 2014 and 2019. In '14 i was able to snag an unsigned poster but missed out in '19 (they were sold out by the time i got to the front of the line).

For a "Doors at 6:00" show, when would you recommend i get into the merch line in order to get a poster? I dont want to miss out, but also dont know if i need to be in line at 6? Thanks!
Line up as early as you like mate. However, TOOLARMY members get first crack at the merchandise stand at 5:15pm so if they purchase all of the signed posters I guess it doesn't really matter.

You never know though; I've been to TOOL shows where their VIP packages were available and they still had signed posters for sale AFTER the show ended at like 11pm.

If you've got the time / opportunity to line up early then just go for it! Just don't be disappointed if all the Toolarmy folks have snapped up all the signed posters by the time you get in at 6pm. 🤷‍♂️
Good to know. I am a Tool Army member, so maybe i grab a poster at 5:15 and then head into the show later. How exactly do Tool Army members get in earlier to have access to the merch?

Having seen both The Pot and Right in Two for the first time last night I can now say that I’ve seen 10,000 Days live in its entirety across several years of shows. First and only Tool album (so far) that I’ve seen in full (I’m missing Ticks and Leeches from Lateralus, that’d be my next one). Blonde Redhead was good too!

Early entry is only for those who bought the VIP tickets, and you had to be a TA member to buy those. No early entry just for being a TA member. Sorry Zim.

Same for me. Ticked off 10K days & am ticks & leeches short of seeing all of lateralus. Just still need Eulogy, H. & Jimmy to cover Aenima, but don't see that happening anytime soon. :|

My first show was 2012 after my buddy had been telling me to listen and go to a concert for years. Ticks was played and I remember my buddy saying you don't know how lucky we were to hear that song tonight. 15 shows later, I get it now.

anaheim tonight. from what has already been played and likely to get played I am hoping to see for first time or first in a while:
RIT
Descending (not played at Staples Center 2019 2 nights)
Culling Voices
Pushit
Hooker

it seems patient and 7empest are unlikely but I will remain optimistic

not sure how I feel about sober/opiate swap.

wild card: Ticks and Leeches! i always hope on that. pretty sure it's been 10 years and if maynard is screaming again (grudge) anything's possible
