General Tour Discussion Thread
Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
Maynard's gotta stop in AZ to check his grapes ya know, why not do a show while you're at it? thanks for all the feedback HB
Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
It's probably a bit easier for Beyonce to record in secret - all she really has to do is record some vocals, and a bunch of producers do the rest.
For Tool to get into the studio would probably make more "noise". And besides, there is no way the record company would let Tool get away with a March release without a bunch of promo to go with it.

Good point. Damnit!! I just finally got it thru my brain that we won't see this new album till the fall! Fuck haha
Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
I wouldn't be getting my hopes up about seeing it in the fall either to be honest.the chill wrote:Good point. Damnit!! I just finally got it thru my brain that we won't see this new album till the fall! Fuck haha
Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
Double damn!!!
Edit: back to the tour topic. I will be going to any LA show for sure and hopefully they can slip in a San Diego show and if they do that I would for sure make it a trifecta and attend a Vegas show. My bday is March 16 so it would be a great gift to see them live again. If they go to Vegas I would hope they play at the Hard Rock. Saw NIN there last year and the sound in that venue was probably one of the best I have heard. Plus we stayed at the Hard Rock hotel and saved lots of money by pre gaming in the room before the show. I saw Tool back in 2011 I think at Planet Hollywood theater and it was before they remodeled the venue so I guess I wouldn't be opposed to see them there also.

Does United Airlines count?
Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
looks like round trip would be aprox. $1450 for you HB, currently working on my RN if I was making the $ would totally help spring for you out here, but alas I will not be done till dec. maybe the new album would be coming out by then and I would help ya come visit Arizona bay, trip to caduceus and a show by then?
Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
Sounds about right, Tickets to LA are usually around $2k in Aussie dollars (excluding specials). To be honest getting a leave pass from the wife would be more costly at this time.azbay wrote:looks like round trip would be aprox. $1450 for you HB

I don't have a pilots license yet... maybe some airline miles though. If your going to spring for a full tour rv rental, I'll see how many I have.hellboy wrote:Someone needs to fly me out to the US though...basejumper wrote:I need to do a road trip... anyone else? If what I just heard about the potential support acts are true, then these concerts are going to be excellent....
