If it is King Crimson...which is what the clickbait sites have rumored so take that with a grain of salt.... but if it is them, I wonder if they are waiting until after their LA Greek Theater show happens to be announced to Tool's SB show. It's only a few days later though, so who knows.

I kinda let the kat out of the bag on reddit, mostly because it appears the band in kwestion has tour dates that appear to klash with the Tool date. That band was Killing Joke.

Nothing really, I just said what I heard from nxrm, given that it seemed unlikely to actually happen. I doubt nxrm is making his conversation with Danny up, so I suspect that they had plans to ask Killing Joke to play, but didn't work out for various reasons.

No idea who the actual special guest will end up being.
