When I listen to puscifer I can't help but wonder, if maynard is writing songs and lyrics to tell stories that he originally wished would be tool releases, but since they don't make music he has released them with puscifer.

I don't think it's "shtick", they really mean that they make the music for themselves without concerning themselves with what we think about it, and that's likely the reason that we ARE all still sticking around after nearly 10 years since the last release.

I think most of the regulars here agree.

i agree with that. clearly the do care about their fans to some degree.... the mere fact that you were able to listen to adam say that is proof that he at least cares about the fans. He took hours of his time before each show to meet with fans. Yeah he made money too, but still shows some appreciation.
