- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

I have not felt this excited about a new band for a while.
Have any of you heard of Dead Poet Society? This guy has an amazing voice and they have crazy good riffs!

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
A few snippets this week I guess:
- A music site from Chile is reporting that discussions are ongoing in regards to getting Tool to South America, and seems to be likely to happen in 2025.
- Justin posted a picture of his basses on Instagram declaring the "vacation is over"
- Alex Grey reckons Tool have something planned for the 5th Anniversary of Fear Inoculum. I'm assuming some kind of Alex Grey autographed doohickey

So Long, and Thanks for All the Tool.
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Yeah, I'm not really expecting anything of note. Maybe they'll release that coloured vinyl variant of FI that they sold on tour. Sounds like the kind of thing Alex would sign and sell on his site.

Yes, we are likely to continue FI Inoc Tour to other continents in 2025, it'll depend on venue availability and as we are actively writing, it maybe we do a quick one month tour in between these sessions. F I now 5 years old!. Thats gone quick and no pressure for us!

Tenacious D were selling kitchen towels at their last shows (literally!) but they called it a cum rag.
Canned audience laughter

Thank goodness they released a lifesize fetus skull... I was beginning to think they never would.

Just got home from the Beat concert in Phoenix. This show was amazing. I only took 3 short videos of the show. Hellboy, do you mind if I post them here? I am not going to post them anywhere else.

Undertow Deluxe CD (30th Anniversary Edition) now available to purchase through the Toolband shop. Unsigned and $249.99.
https://store.toolband.com/product/TLCD ... 315_109579
Details
This massively anticipated follow up to Opiate is a sworn favorite of fans world wide showcasing Tool at their best on multiple levels. Exacting and precise production pairs seamlessly with ground breaking guitar riffs, and splitting, heavy bass - especially on Sober and Crawl Away. Lyrically, Tool are at their vitriolic best targeting religious hypocrisy in Intolerance and Sober, the loss of innocence and the resulting consequences in Prison Sex, and deliberate ignorance in Swamp Song. Henry Rollins makes a guest appearance on Bottom, which along with 4 Degrees, deals with questions of identity. Undertow is the epitome of the unbridled fearlessness fans have come to expect of the band.
Includes:
Special Casing
Full artbook with unreleased photos and interviews
Lenticular artwork card
30th Anniversary Coin
Artwork and packaging is cool. Is the audio remastered? Can't recall anyone that bought this while it was available as tour merch confirming if the audio was any different. $249 seems a bit pricey though, considering the Opiate 21st Anniversary release was signed by the band, and that went for $150 if I remember correctly.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Yeah, $150 is correct. Plus it was signed and limited.
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
$250 for a fucking cd with nothing improved
Canned audience laughter
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Nice packages, but ridiculous price. Some Tool fans have more money than sense.
