Yep, I remember too. It's a pretty simple idea. Been mentioned a few times, with me rolling my eyes everytime I read it.

I'd just like a nice remix and remaster. Some of it sounds really dated. Go listen to what Steven Wilson did with the old Jethro Tull tracks from Aqualung and imagine Undertow getting that treatment.

Plus there are Paul D'Amour demos of songs like Stinkfist and Pushit from that era (that are floating around if anyone wants to get me a PM) that could be bonus material. Not to mention some interesting alternate takes (that are also out there).

It'd be kinda lame to have stuff that's been on the internet for years as the bonus material.

Then again I also think it's kinda lame that apparently Undertow is also going to get re-released as well.

Maybe I'm wrong but that seems a bit too much to be just "diehards".

Even if I'm wrong imagine how those people who buy a re-release with this bonus material would feel when they found out this stuff was on the internet for years and years. Going by the price of the Opiate re-release it probably wouldn't be a good feeling.

Anyway I'm just talking out of my ass here because even though it seems to be the consensus opinion there is nothing concrete to say that an Undertow re-issue is inevitable.

Those videos have also been up for 6 years. This 10,000 Days full album videohas been up for a year and has nearly 2 million views. So yeah, I think it's mostly just diehards.

Another point of comparison is those MTvoid videos I put up earlier this year. They have a over 3,000 views. In 6 years they'd be at about the same point as those demos. And I think only diehard fans would really seek out MTvoid.
