I've already gone through frame by frame in premire and from what I can tell, its just the letters being warped, and adding some additional tearing to give it a 'webby' appearance. So, I'm fairly certain that this is the official album release date. I'm contacting my Record Store hookup to see what other details he can offer from his distributor. Hopefully a title pops up.

Well.... This is better than "fool", but it also doesn't look like a logo, just some piece of a random cheesy metal album or something. Given the timeline, I was suspecting something would have to come tomorrow in order to get ahead of info leaks. We will see if they update the main page.
I was suspecting this bait and switch as well, given the dead air.

Haters gonna hate. It's easy for people to act like they care about minute details that ultimately don't matter.
People would be bitching about the older logos if they were released today as well. The current state of instant access technology and communication inspires knee jerk reactions worldwide.
No disrespect to those that simply don't like the new logo, we've all got opinions, just calling things as I see it.

I love the wrench! I really like them all except for the 10,000 Days logo.

So I don't mind the logo really. I don't think it's a standout piece of typography by any means, but I assume it will fit the artwork of the album. There's a bit of talk regarding it being "Egyptian" but personally I don't see the correlation. To me it looks more likely to be clock/time related, which actually does fit the theme of the two released songs.

I don’t care for that logo. Looks unnecessarily busy.
The chode key/cross logo was on the right track lol. Almost like someone actually did hear an accurate description and then spit balled the graphic.
