Listened to both Danny's and Adam’s podcasts and really enjoyed them. Great to hear straight from them talking freely and candidly. Can’t wait for tour dates.

The following dates have been floated around today:

11/02/19 – Indianapolis, IN
11/03/19 - Chicago, IL
11/08/19 – Pittsburgh, PA

Hopefully we get the full announcement from the band soon. I'm looking forward to seeing Pneuma, Fear Inoculum and Tempest performed live...

11/18 - Philadelphia, PA @ Wells Fargo Center also rumored. I'm guessing we'll see a tour announcement tomorrow.

Yea and taking like 3 weeks to go from CA to the Midwest seems out of the ordinary. Unless they are only moving like 100 miles a show, and going EVERYWHERE.

IF they are doing that, i would assume they are not playing huge arenas like the united center.

There was a week in between the two PA shows in Sept/Oct 2006 as well. It doesn't mean they're gonna be hanging about in Pennsylvania that whole time lol

Whatup Busty, my man. I'm still holding out until Saturday. Two more days to go! I'm tempted to jam it tonight, but I want to have the day off to really take it all in. I will probably prelude with Lateralus and 10,000 Days. I'll be back next week. Miss you guys.

Excited to see what the people who are going in totally blind will think. The rest of us were lead up to gradually so we sort of were knew what to expect when it comes to how the album will sound. I don't regret knowing because I wanted to get those first listens out of the way and get familiar with the songs asap so I could start enjoying them sooner. I mean I don't think anybody can know how much they actually like this album until a few years from now. I know for me it has to gel once it has been processed through properly.

a few interesing bits from the new VISIONS (german magazine) interview.
-the interview took place on the day tool announced that they would be streaming their catalogue. by this time, Adam was sill working on some of the artwork of the new album (that was very surprising to me). in particular, he was working on 1 of 2 videos. the interview doesn't state which videos, and whether one of these 2 videos is the one that comes with the physical copy of the album.
-the main 7empest structure that features the 21 time signature comes from Justin.
-according to justin, maynard was the one who really convinced everyone to finally hit the studio.
-VIP sessions: the reason why mjk was absent was NOT because he didn't want to attend, but because he is too busy with all his endeavours (3 bands, wine, restaurants, farm...)
-the band realizes that the VIP tix were expensive, but didn't earn much money anyway because bringing all the equipment ate up most of the money
-Adam confirms that one of the reasons why Tool never put up their catalogue on streaming platforms is because the deals they were offered were ridiculous
-the band doesn't have some kind of masterplan

i'll try to post more tomorrow. it was a good read

MJK was in the building, not picking grapes in his grape smugglers. He could have said, what’s up.

Chuckles. Grape Smugglers... loulz

I have thought the same, and that argument is hard to buy. I wonder if MJK would say the same thing if asked...

Whatever, with FI all is forgiven.
