TOOL NEWSLETTER, JANUARY 2021 E.V.
"Would you good folks settle for a half of a Tool newsletter? Okay, great! Here we go. A while back I mentioned that DANNY was tracking with Peter Murphy (of “Bauhaus” fame) and that he was playing a different snare on each tune. Currently, there is a bit of a pause with some of the mixing due to the recording rig at the Loft being under construction, but the good news is that JUSTIN is also performing on the album, with bass contributions to possibly 6 tracks. The Tool bassist is also putting the final touches on the next MTVoid album with Peter Mohamed. Entitled “Matter’s Knot”, the great Bob Ludwig has mastered 5 tracks, so that album is nearly ready. If that weren’t enough, Justin is also working on 2 tracks with Tristan from “Author and Punisher.” And there you have it (pun in all), and several things to look forward to in 2021, and it’s only January."

never gonna play that game after all these years but i hope something in there means a Tool video or some release but im def not counting on it. Possibly maybe at best. ah well

I don't know what you guys are on about, they are installing a recording rig at the loft so once that's done expect a new album every 6 months minimum!

sounds good! cant wait! they really should challenge themselves and do something not so OCD like and just put it out. they were all about ''expect the unexpected'' so its time for that! Junior should tell them! baah!

Yeah, except they've had a recording rig at the Loft for about as long as there's been a Loft. They've done countless demos and scratch tracks there over the years. It's gone through a number of upgrades, though.
