Met him 2010 at the "Sonor-Days". Very nice guy, almost a bit shy (but with tons and tons of skills).

Yep. Gavin is a very mellow and charming dude. I also met him at a drum clinic in San Jose, maybe that same year, and chatted with him a bit after Porcupine Tree and Pineapple thief gigs. What a monster talent.
If he wasn’t on tour, I wager he would be in London now too.
