I understand. But to the best of my recollection, the only two constantly doing that were Cheese and Crow.

And if you didn't want us doing it, why have it as an option in the first place.

I figured it would be used sensibly.  I guess I show too much faith in you guys sometimes.

All well & good if you post here all the time & know all users rough post counts etc, but to the casual observer is confusing as all fuck!

If people would like to change their names back to something a little more sensible, then I may turn it back on for a short while.

Display Name changes are switched back on - you guys have 24 hours or so to settle on a name before it gets yanked away again...

There was an error uploading the avatar: Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2013/06. Is its parent directory writable by the server? 

 

 

Fired up the test account and had no problems uploading an avatar.  Try again is all I can suggest?

Also, what is the file size, type and dimensions of the image in question?

Any help with avatar would be great? Something i'm missing maybe? I've tried several times and it says that .bmp files cannot be used due to secuity and when I save it as a .jpeg it says something about server cannot route path?

I don't have any suggestions really, as it all seems to work fine for me and my test account. Perhaps you can send me a link to your desired avatar and I can try and make it happen...

@Hellboy, I will try and change it tonight from my home computer. Maybe it's some security setting here at work. The man keeping me down.
