Anyone in the Portland, Oregon area that would like to noodle out some Tool tunes? I've got no skill whatsoever (yet have a guit/bass/kit) but have equipment and appendages to fake it. hmu if in the region.

Here's a recent purchase:
Fender Standard Telecaster HH in Olympic white. You can't tell from the picture but the tone knob doubles as a push/pull coil split. The neck on this baby is one of the finest I've ever played.

I purchased the Finale notation software today and used it to rearrange and record that piece I wrote last year, "Inside", as Finale has better MIDI software than the service I was using then. So it just plain sounds a lot better. I made a few changes too that I think makes the whole thing work a little better as well.

I don't usually like to bring politics into my music, but I felt that music was the only way I could really get my message across this time.

Haven't revelead this about myself here yet, but I figured why not. I used to play drums, and I was in a band with a horrible bandname. Here's what I believe to be our best song, filmed from my pov. Can ya'll hear the Danny influences?

Good job on the arrangement/cover. Definitely made it your own. Thanks for sharing that!

hello! first post. i've been following fourtheye for years now--thanks to hellboy and the community for the consolidated tool (and other related bands) news after TDN. i haven't really had anything news- or opinion-worthy to contribute, but since it seems like people on the board share my musical preferences, this seems like a good place to share some music i've made. hope y'all enjoy it. https://calliope.bandcamp.com/
