So back a few weeks (dec. 12) ago Blair posted on Toolband that Danny would be selling specialty merch (sticks, drumheads, pillows, pedals) for this holiday season.

I saw on his website that he already listed and presumably sold out of the signed drumsticks and drumheads, but I never saw the used pedal go up for sale.  I did however miss viewing the website for about 4 days (Dec. 15-19) in a row due to a vacation.

Soo.... did anyone keep an eye on the page from that "news" release date till now and witness whether or not the pedal went up for sale?

If it did go for sale and sold, what was the price and did anyone on here get it?

I'm hopeful that it didn't list yet and I can buy it with all my xmas money I am saving specifically for the pedal

Thanks for your input.

What?

Why would Danny sell all of his shit if Tool broke up?  I imagine he would still play drums.

Also drumsticks and drumheads is not all of his shit.

I'd imagine he'd wish to rid himself of anything that reminded him of the band.

I purchased a signed drum head the day they went on sale (Feb 12th I think), but I haven't received it yet. Yesterday I sent an email to the merch contact to ask about an approximate shipment date, but they haven't yet replied.

I suppose its possible Danny didn't have the drum heads signed at the time of the sale, which would be a reasonable explanation for a delay.

I haven't seen any sign of the pedals mentioned in the first post.

Awesome drumhead BKGG.  I got my personalized one last year and I love it.  I'm regretting that I didn't have him really personalize it to me rather just a generic lyric.  Kudos to you.  Any special framing plans or just a basic square mount?

And since no one has confirmed that the pedal already sold I'm going to keep trolling his site daily.

I expect when it goes for sale it will be for $300+ (b/c Pearl 2000C Pedals sell new for $150)

Oh boy I'm excited to try and get my hands on it.

I'm waiting on email from a bunch of people. You have to remember that it's holiday season, so things are moving pretty slowly.

Should be back to normal next week.

The merch guys at that store are notoriously slow at responding to email.

Care to PM me a larger picture, maybe higher quality as well?

Looks like some notes have been scribed on the upper left side of the head.  Can't tell exactly what type they are though.

Has anyone not received their signed drum head order at this point? I haven't received the one I ordered and I am somewhat concerned about the delay. I have sent a couple emails to Danny's merch (the first one 13 days ago) but haven't received a reply.

My order confirmation lists correct info, so everything seems straight in that regard...

Hellboy pointed out the Merch response on Danny's site is historically slow, so it may just be that (although for some reason, I thought the same Merch guy was handling both Tool and DC's sites).

My advice is to continue sending regular inquiries, but keep it mellow (don't start threatening, etc).  Hopefully, they are just slow after the holidays, and you may get an extra something thrown in for the delay.

Good luck with it.

Yes, good point. I always use very apologetic/kind language in my emails, which is the best way to get a favorable response with an overwhelmed customer service worker. It has been a week since my previous email, so I sent another email today...

Crossing my fingers for a response.

The drum head with possible musical notes is really interesting. It could easily be for Volto as well as Tool. However, you dont see that a lot from what iv seen which i think makes it special. Id just go ahead and query Danny himself, your chances at a response are obviously very low, but if you got an answer it could be a really cool story on your wall forever. That said, i dont read music for shit. Good luck, and more importantly, nice grab.
