This is TOOL. It doesn't have to be anything that we would expect. I'm being optimistic. Fuck it, why not?

Even if they are in the studio right now June seems a little optimistic. But if I were optimistic, I'd look at July 3 as some kind of release/announce type date given that it was in the BBQ Concert poster in the recent newsletter.

Albums will no longer be released on Tuesdays. They will be released on Fridays starting this summer...

And yes, I assume whatever has been mastered (presuming something actually has) is most likely the curveball rather than a new album.

But really, who the fuck knows - there's some much information (and disinformation) out there that anything could be on the horizon. I know Califum has his reasons to believe that the new album won't be out anytime soon (and I'm inclined to agree) but for the most part I don't think there's anyone outside of Tool's inner circle that really know what's going on.

I think 7/3/15 has significance. Really odd for Blair to choose a random date in the future, make it a connection with tool, and it be nothing

did Danny really email him? or is that a joke? I was super surprised when I received one returned email from VOLTO!'s manager that time. that was pretty cool.

I once sent an email to GG Allin's brother Merv.

And he emailed me back.
