I am convinced that the band has now become a huge joke, at our expense. All they need to do is tour once a year, make epic bank, and give their fans the impression that they're working on new material.

I think that's a hip hop thing, Rza taught that to the rest of the Wu years ago. every interview you do, radio, written, always talk about upcoming projects even if they don't exist. it's a passive marketing tactic. it sucks for the fans who buy it for a few years but after that it really becomes parody.

I can't speak for SOAD, but why the fuck would Tool do anything to please their fans? I petition Tool to release their shitty album already so people can complain about it. How's that?
