I couldn't bring myself to watch the reboots, the previews were enough for me.

And the original actually holds up pretty damn well he, y watched it about 18 months ago and apart from the fact that it was nostalgia overdrive , it was surprisingly still enjoyable.

ya the michael bay movies are, no thanks. the orig is still good for sure! i saw it sometime ago. prob when the first MB movie came out but havent seen any of that since. i wasnt overly into the cartoons and all that but the orig movie in grade 8 was fun. Thats so long ago! that was the same theatre i accidentally pulled the fire alarm at about 6 years later, talking to a girl i went to elementary school with, haha. The fucked up thing is, thats the only time i've seen her before or after the fire alarm :S i still wonder about that sometimes, haha.

The Bay movies were really good, if you were a huge fan as a child like you guys say you were you owe it to yourself to watch, very good fan service.

Fuck I may actually watch them again.

Im not sure we even got that in Canada. i know the toys. wasnt it like kinda budget G.I Joes or something ? i dont remember seeing the toyline around back then either. I do remember seeing Boba Fett on the DROIDS cardback and looking at it going ''ooh i got that figure'' which i did but little did i know how much that would be worth on that cardback years and years later. it was at Sears when i was into Transformers after SW. kinda funny but i still remember looking at it but not caring about SW anymore like most kids did as time went on.

did you ever watch the Barbie cartoons (if they had one)

Had a listen to the new Tomahawk album today - I think it's a solid listen, certainly better than the last one It doesn't really tread any new ground though, so don't go in expecting that. Probably around the 7/10 vicinity for me, maybe getting up to 8

A few listens in and I'm quite digging it - maybe closer to an 8. Patton's lyrics are a bit less memorable this time around, but digging it musically. I've been a big Denison fan for a while now, and he brings some strong work to this one.

Pretty good album, Business Casual and Tattoo Zero are my standouts, great one two punch, also my lyrical complaint was after only hearing Dog Eat Dog, after hearing the entire album I retract my statement.

I'm cool with it all for the most part. It's not their strongest work, but a tonne better than their last. I'd say a decent chance to get into my 2021 top 10, mostly because I'm a Patton/Denison fanboi

There's Blu-ray version listed on the Bandcamp page, so not so sure it's VHS only.

Still, seems silly to have a VHS release but not cassette.

That clip was pretty good though, so keen to check this out
