Slightly OT but I still watch the Tuva sawblade/eye intro on the Lateralus '02 bootlegs - best intro ever.... wish it'd be released someday/somehow. Always thought it'll be on the DVD. I'd ask Jones about where it came from if I had a Q&A... or if I could weasel a copy.
The video intermission on the Aussie '11 tour is also an excellent contender for whatever I'm talking about... which I'm not entirely sure, hashtag.

I saw 'tuva' performed at CoSM on one of the closing nights in NYC. The group of gentleman who performed the opening for Tool shows in '01-'02 were very kind, and very talented.I honestly forget the exact name of the group who performs it is, but if I remember I will post it it.
