Make it after, say, October 11th, and I'll be the happiest Aussie you'll ever meet.

Well they will be here in December for Meredith, so I'm presuming there will be other dates around then. Hopefully one in Adelaide!

Fuck, this show was so good. The Melvins are hands down one of the greatest live bands ever. Amazing how they melt your brain with almost no technical bells and whistles. Just guitars, drums and vocals.

Honky was certainly interesting. Not at all what I was expecting, which is exactly what you should expect from a Melvins show I suppose.

I'll bet nobody would do something like that at a Stone Temple Pilots show!!!

No indeed!

Stone Temple Pilots!! Ha ha!! oh boy....

A film of Clem Burke plays "Attitude" by Kinks for Melvins' new album "Everybody Loves Sausage." drummagazine.com
Filmed by my friend, Bob Hannam.

- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

Buzz answers readers' questions:

I love that the Melvins are always collaborating with people. Adam Jones from Tool always talks about how much he loves you. Have you ever considered recording music with him? — Graham Muttram

Well, on The Crybaby record we did a whole song with Tool called “Divorced.” We’ve done stuff off and on, but Tool’s pretty busy. Adam’s the one millionaire- rock-star kinda guy that doesn’t treat me like a peon. We’re actually friends above and beyond all that, which is nice. I’m not good at networking and I’m not good at parties. I’m the guy that would rather drive to San Diego to see a big rock show than see it in L.A. [laughs] I don’t wanna deal with it! If Adam lost all of his money tomorrow, it wouldn’t affect our relationship at all, thank god. Maybe he and I could get jobs at Starbucks.
