DC Interview

Found an interesting interview with Danny today, seems to have been done recently in the lead up to the forth coming shows in the UK: Soundtrack-like indeed, and with a flair for creating the visuals to accompany the music in house, has movie making ever surfaced on the agenda? “We’ve had pretty intense discussions about it. I think if any band would be capable of doing a full length feature… Read More »DC Interview

Bastardometer from Toolarmy posted some more Meshuggah news for us all, including some Drum Workshop dates with their drummer Tomas Haake. Meshuggah Update

G emailed me today to let me know that there’s a new Meshuggah interview available on the net.  I haven’t listened to it, but I’m told the guys are currently writing material for their follow-up to Catch Thirty Three, with demos to be recorded in December.  The release date is expected to be in the fall, presumably of the Northern Hemisphere. Check the interview out here.

New Poll

The latest poll is up, this time about 2007’s Big Day Out. Not sure why it wasn’t working in the first place, presumably some sort of caching issue, since today I logged in and all of a sudden it was right.

Mastodon, Signed Lateralus Vinyl, Music

Mastodon talk briefly about the tour with Tool on the AOL Music News Blog.  They also talk about appearing on the Conan O’Brien show.  Here’s the link. I received an email a few days ago from a TA member who is interested in obtaining a copy of the Signed Lateralus Vinyl.  They are obviously a little hesitant in purchasing over-priced, and potentially illegitimate items from Ebay.  Should anyone be wanting… Read More »Mastodon, Signed Lateralus Vinyl, Music

Maynard interview with IGN

Possibly Brad Wilk, Tim C., and Jonny Polonsky may want to be involved… Read More »Maynard interview with IGN

J emailed me today telling me that he saw Tool playing in Turin last night, and that he had some pictures to share. Check them out here!

“Lists”, Hungarian Tool Fans

Blair has posted on the TA boards a response to peoples questions regarding the Tool Set-List.  As usual, it’s not a straight answer: E-MAIL ABOUT THIS “LIST” THING I must admit that I’m completely baffled by recent e-mails from some Tool enthusiasts over in Europe (and here in the U.S. as well) whining and complaining about the band having the same guest list every night. This is just plain ridiculous.… Read More »“Lists”, Hungarian Tool Fans
