News this morning that promoters Live Nation are planning to postpone all tours due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Importantly for us, this would include coming Tool dates across North America. The Live Nation stock price has taken a considerable nosedive today as well. Music promoters are important for what we love, so hopefully this is only a temporary setback. It looks very much like what many of us have feared is coming to a head, with tonight’s Tool show in Eugene cancelled for Coronavirus related reasons: No word yet on other shows this tour, but I think it would be logical to assume that remaining dates, and likely the shows in April as well will probably not go ahead. Amazing footage this morning, with some multi-angle and excellent sounding footage of Danny Carey working the kit during a recent performance of the track Pneuma off Tool‘s latest album Fear Inoculum. It’s great stuff, and well worth the time investment for drummers and Tool fans alike!

There seems to be a few articles around the place highlighting a proposed Tool Lego set by master builder blocksandmocs, in which there is a stage, and a representation of all 4 band members.
