The Book of Douche Bag. Vol 4. vs The Hunter

Things are pretty quiet in the Tool world at the moment, so in order to keep you clicking on my ads informed here’s the latest in the Book of Douche Bag series of videos from Puscifer: I’m still surprised we don’t have Puscifer dates for the tour yet.  Hopefully soon! Just in case that Puscifer video doesn’t do much for you, perhaps you’ll find the new Mastodon album The Hunter more… Read More »The Book of Douche Bag. Vol 4. vs The Hunter

Tool Revisited part 1: Divorced

Tool Revisited is a series of articles dedicated to analysing, and discussing a Tool related topic, be it a song, album, show, side project or anything really.  I plan on publishing one of these every week or so, and hopefully it may fill in some gaps in your own Tool knowledge, or even just generate some interesting conversation.  If anyone has any ideas for future topics (or even wants to… Read More »Tool Revisited part 1: Divorced

The Pot video production starting soon

While things may appear to be quiet on the Tool front, perhaps it’s not as quiet as it may seem.  Word is that production on the next Tool video, for the 10,000 Days track The Pot is rumoured to be starting very soon.  Possibly as soon as this week. For those that need a little reminding about this video, in September 2009 Adam mentioned the following in a Guitar World… Read More »The Pot video production starting soon

So far, I found the leaks believable, but to be honest… Read More »Rumour: A Perfect Circle for Big Day Out

Merkin Vineyards Chupacabra 2006 gets Australian release

Matt Irwin & Trent Allen, a couple of entrepreneurial Aussies have managed to secure the right to distribute Maynard’s wines into Australia.  This makes us the first country outside of the USA to have official distribution for these products.  It’s not a release of the entire range however, the first shipment will be the Chupacabra 2006, and I’d expect if this sells well then future wines will also become available.… Read More »Merkin Vineyards Chupacabra 2006 gets Australian release

Tool August 2011 Newsletter

Ok _________’s, Blair recently put out the August Tool Newsletter.  It’s reasonably short, and only really contains a couple of Tool snippets, the most important probably being: (in regards to the new Tool album) Just when things were rolling along at the loft with the writing and arranging sessions (and what I’ve heard so far sounds truly great!) And: Also, things are looking good for the new Tool website… as… Read More »Tool August 2011 Newsletter
