Maynard Movie Time!!

A couple in interesting clips featuring Maynard came across my desk today.  The frist of which is a short documentary called Blood Into Wine.  It is all about Maynard’s winery in Jerome, Arizona.  Though short, it’s of great quality, and is quite interesting.  Maynard needs to learn how to properly put on a beanie though… The second video is a probably illegal grab of Maynards part in Crank 2, dubbed… Read More »Maynard Movie Time!!

News Catch-Up!

I’ve been away for a few days, and have missed out on several little bits and pieces of Tool related news. No tour news though, which is what people really want! Firstly, Maynard appears in the new movie Crank 2, which also features Danny Lohner, Mike Patton doing the soundtrack, and some dude from Linkin Park.  Thanks to Ziggy and AZB for the tips. In another movie related item, apparently… Read More »News Catch-Up!

Tool/Melvins Myth Busted?

Tool “Family” member Junior (or at least someone claiming to be him) posted a comment on Fourtheye just a little while ago: Although no band member was mentioned, I believe Blair was talking about Danny’s attempt at grabbing a very fast foul ball. Danny and Blair were at the game as were Buzz and I, though we were seated in a different section from them. They were on the front… Read More »Tool/Melvins Myth Busted?

Twitter Reminder

  • Tool

Just a reminder post for any readers who may not be aware that Fourtheye has a Twitter Account.  This feed offers an alternative way of getting information from Fourtheye, as every post I make is tweeted, as well as a few extras here and there than don’t quite deserve a full mention on the site. Follow me now and if I beat Aston Kutcher to 2 million followers I’ll personally… Read More »Twitter Reminder

According to a recent tweet on the XEC Center in Minnesotas Twitter account: TOOL coming to XEC in early August! Stay tuned for more details… Thanks to the many readers who submitted this!

Lollapalooza Confirmed!

In what will come as a surprise to very few, Tool have been officially confirmed as part of the Lollapalooza lineup.  Other acts that I like on the bill include Janes Addiction, Beastie Boys, Lou Reed and Dan Deacon.  The Festival spans several nights in August at  Grant Park in Chicago.  Sounds like a great gig!

Lollapalooza Confirmed?

Blair made a cryptic post on Toolarmy today: Anyone besides Buzz, Junior and I see that blistering line drive of a foul ball the other night at Dodger Stadium that damn near postponed a certain tour? Easier just to buy one of the damn things. Speaking of baseball (which I love), in planning my… vacation, while in Chi-Town the second week in August (when the weather’s nice), I was hoping… Read More »Lollapalooza Confirmed?

Nagual Del JUDITH

Sorry about the lack of posts the last few days – been busy with a couple of guests staying with us at the moment. Maynard posted the other day to tell us about the latest Caduceus release: “I am standing on a metaphorical plateau.  The view from here suggests that I/we still have many mountains to negotiate.  It has already been a long journey.  But the successes and failures have… Read More »Nagual Del JUDITH

Golf with Maynard “totally worth it”

According to an article on Wired, Tool fan Thomas Mrzyglocki had a ball with Josh Freese as part of the $20 000 Since 1972 package.  Amongst other things he got to play Mini-Golf with Maynard: For the golf outing, Mrzyglocki and Freese were joined by Keenan, Joe Escalante (who plays bass in Freese’s punk rock band The Vandals), several friends and a cameraman who recorded the match for posterity. Famous… Read More »Golf with Maynard “totally worth it”
