According to Billboard.com: Volcano will on Dec. 20 release short form DVD singles for the Tool songs “Schism” and “Parabola.” Beyond the video clips for the tracks, the DVDs will feature previously unreleased audio remixes plus commentary. “Schism” and “Parabola” are drawn from Tool’s most recent studio album, 2001’s “Lateralus.” The set has sold 2.3 million copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan. For peole who like arguing over top 100 lists, here’s a list of the Top 100 Greatest Rock Drum Performances by some guy I’ve never heard of. John Bonham’s performance in Moby Dick tops the list, but Danny has a respectable 6 appearances, with Ticks & Leeches take out position 3. No time was announced, though Blair mentioned he’d try and get that information out to members before it happens. Word on the street is that there may be two DVD’s released on the 20th of December. On with the Parabol/Parabola video and the other with Schism. Still no word on what else may be on the DVD(s) however selling two DVD’s each containing just one video seems a little silly to me.
