Big Day Out Update

The second announcement for the Big Day Out was made today, and joining Tool, Muse, etc are whole truckload of generally unexciting (to me anyway) bands. Highlights for me include You Am I, The Butterfly Effect, Afra & the Incredible Beatbox Band, The Streets and The Crystal Method.  No one that I’d go out of my way to see, but I feel would put on a good show anyway. One… Read More »Big Day Out Update

Sydney Sold Out (Again)?

I thought I’d just head over to the Ticketmaster website and see how the Tool ticket sales were going, and it looks like the Sydney show no longer has any tickets left.  I hope those of you who were looking for tickets were quick enough to get one…

Extra tickets to the Sydney Tool show went on sale today at Ticketmaster. There’s still some left, get in there NOW while you still can! And sorry all for the delay, but I didn’t see it mentioned on the BDO site or anywhere else when I checked them early before work this morning, although I might not have looked closely enough…

September Newsletter, Gold Coast gone

Bliar posted the September newsletter on Toolband/Army yesterday. As usual it doesn’t say much, but it’s quite short this time. He also gave details for an Isis release party for the new album “In The Absence Of Truth” on October 30th, if you’re in LA then be sure to check it out. Ticketek has sold out it’s allocation to the Gold Coast Big Day Out, tickets are still available at… Read More »September Newsletter, Gold Coast gone

Big Day Out sale info

The Big Day Out site updated again today detailing how the final 10,000 tickets in Sydney will be sold. Basically, they’re holding a random ballot of 1,000 tickets drawn every Thursday. The tickets in the first 5 ballots will sell for $125, then rest will be $150, plus their extortionate fees. Registrations open on Friday. It seems a kind of crap way to do it to me… but I’m generally… Read More »Big Day Out sale info

The Sydney Big Day Out sold out on the first day today. Not quite sure on the time but I think it’s a record anyway. For all those that missed out I can empathise… lets hope for more to be released! Puscifer website has been launched. It looks quite good actually, but I haven’t dug too deeply yet. Edit: The Big Day Out website has been updated to say that… Read More »Sydney sells out!, Puscifer launched

I noticed that Big Day Out tickets will go on sale at 12:01am Friday on the festival’s website (local time for each show I assume) and all other outlets from the start of business on Friday morning. So you’ll be waiting up if you absolutely must have them when they go on sale. If you’re bored and in Perth on Saturday, Ronan tells me there’s a Tool night being held… Read More »Big Day Out ticket update, Aeon Blue

Update!

Hi Everyone, the wedding went really well, and thanks to all of you for wishing us well.  I’ve got a few quiet days before I head off to the US on holidays.  A couple of things came across my desk while I wasn’t paying attention: Ronnie from New Zealand has emailed me a link to the second part of the NZ TV3 interview with Danny and Adam.  Haven’t had a… Read More »Update!
