Tool pillows and other money spending opportunities

Looks like the Tool pillows Blair mentioned are now available for purchase via the Toolband store just in time for Xmas. Turns out they are made from old band shirts, so if you’ve put on weight while waiting for the new Tool album, perhaps you could drag out some of your old shirts and make your own! If you’re not so inclinded to sew, then they can be purchased for… Read More »Tool pillows and other money spending opportunities

Temporary Forum Downtime

Hi Everyone, You may or may not have noticed that the Fourtheye forums are down at the moment.  I need to collect some usage stats for my ISP, and the only way I can do this is to bring the forum down for a couple of days.  They will be back, so don’t worry! In the meantime, the usual Fourtheye news will continue, and you can feel free to comment… Read More »Temporary Forum Downtime

We’re Back!

As I’m sure many of you noticed, we suffered some significant downtime over the last 24 hours.  This was due to technical issues with the old Fourtheye Wiki.  This hasn’t been used in some time, and in it’s neglected state I suspect was left open to attack from malicious parties.  It’s since been removed, and at this stage won’t be coming back. There’s nothing to suggest any user data has… Read More »We’re Back!

Friday Fourtheye Updates

Sorry about the lack of news the last few days.  Those of you active in the forum would know that I’ve been busy migrating the forums from an old bbPress 1 system to a more modern, and hopefully more flexible bbPress 2 system.  There were a fair few headaches involved with this, the migration is now complete, and the new forums can be enjoyed here.  There are still some further… Read More »Friday Fourtheye Updates

Fourtheye Update 1 Complete!

The first of several updates is now complete, and aside from a few style issues (mainly in the footer and my wardrobe) all is good. I welcome feedback, good or bad! Note on the left hand side, I’ve added a new Support Fourtheye section. Starting now, I’m offering a subscription service for those wanting to support the site. Don’t fret though, none of the content on the site will removed… Read More »Fourtheye Update 1 Complete!

Fourtheye’s 2011 Musical Highlights

As the end of 2011 approaches, it’s tradition (except for last year when I was too lazy) for all music websites to reflect on the year gone by and present a Best Of list for everyone to argue over (and I encourage robust debate in the comments section).  Not wanting to break with tradition (again), here is a list of stuff I enjoyed in 2011. There have been plenty of… Read More »Fourtheye’s 2011 Musical Highlights

Puscifer streaming coming soon

I saw on Facebook this morning that Puscifer’s new album Conditions of My Parole will be streamed on Spin in full sometime in the new few days.  Keep your ears close to the ground and prepare yourselves for the rumbling.  I’m heading off to Melbourne for a few days, so updates may be a little slow until Monday.  Have a great few days without me!

Fourtheye donation competition closing soon!

Just a gentle reminder to anyone thinking about donating to Fourtheye, that the recent donation drive closes at the end of this month.  As I outlined previously, anyone who donates this month goes in to the draw for a Fourtheye shirt of their choosing.  Each dollar donated gets you an entry! Regardless of if you’re able to help financially, thanks to you all for being part of Fourtheye! Buy!

Fourtheye Sponsorship Drive

Nothing in the world is free.  Each year to run Fourtheye costs around AU$150 (depending on the strength of the Australian dollar compared to the US dollar at the time) and each year these bills arrive in July.  While Fourtheye is in no danger of going anywhere, this time of year is a good time to remind you that should you be considering making a donation to your favourite Tool… Read More »Fourtheye Sponsorship Drive
