Henry emailed me today and tells me that according to Maynard‘s diary on Caduceus.org, he will be off the road for a while. This statement gives me hope that we’ll see them on the road again, though I’m not holding my breath for any more tours this year….

Blabbermouth report that a Puscifer Teaser has been released by Red Artist Development. It can be found here, but it really doesn’t give much away except for the fact that Cuntry Boner will be released as a single. A very brief interview with Maynard has appeared on the NRK Nett-tv website, where he talks about why Tool don’t like having their live shows filmed. May also indicate why they’re in no hurry to release a Live DVD.
Word is Maynard has recovered sufficiently for Tool to play the Gampal Festival in Switzerland. Thanks to the Tool Hotline!
According to a post on Toolband/Army, Tool have been forced to cancel the upcoming show at the Frequency Festival in Austria. It looks like Maynard has contracted a throat infection and isn’t able to perfrom. No word on if any other dates will be cancelled. Let’s all hope for a speedy recovery for Maynard, and hopefully a minimal disruption for the remainder of the tour!
According to Blabbermouth.net Queen B is the lead single from the upcoming Puscifer album V is for Vagina. A video for this should be released by late September. V for Vagina is set for release on the 30th of October and will include the tracks Queen B, Dojo, Cuntry Boner and a cover of the Circle Jerks song World Up My Ass.
