Tool May 2014 Newsletter out

Nothing to see here – Blair tells us about Danny buying a rare book. Let’s cross our fingers and hope that now all four Tool members seem to have a clear calendar we’ll see some real progress towards hitting the studio before the end of 2014.

Tool April 2014 Newsletter out now!

Blair’s April 2014 Tool newsletter is now online, and while it doesn’t feature any Tool news, it does have a lengthy interview with the Tool Merch guy (name unknown). There’s also a promise of new old merch items: To go along with his interview in the newsletter, “Merch” will be adding a very limited number of some rare, discontinued items in the Tool stores. This will include vintage shirts such… Read More »Tool April 2014 Newsletter out now!

Tool March 2013 Newsletter now online!

The Tool March 2013 newsletter has just been released on Toolband, and seems relatively fool free for now, unless of course you count the mention of the curveball. Maybe one day we’ll hear some solid news about it! Here’s Blair’s thoughts on the San Francisco show: SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA It should go without saying that I attended the San Francisco show. Here are some notes: Best hotel with psychedelic furnishings… Read More »Tool March 2013 Newsletter now online!

Tool February 2014 Newsletter released

Blair has posted the February Tool newsletter, but this month is hidden away in the Newsletters section rather than posted on the main page. It doesn’t really contain much information, so here it is in full for you convenience! Xmas 2013 Tool Newsletter released

Blair has published the 2013 Tool Xmas Newsletter this Xmas day (or Xmas Eve for you more backwards countries), and it features the usual dense prose that many of you like to complain about. November 2013 Tool Newsletter released

Blair has posted the November Tool Newsletter, which is largely a reasonably positive update on the status of Tool songwriting, and very little of the stuff you guys normally complain about (though I’m sure several of you are still more than capable of complaining regardless). He also discusses the Mexican Festival date, and the possibility of other dates. The short answer is he doesn’t know if there will be any,… Read More »November 2013 Tool Newsletter released

October “Tool” Newsletter released

Blair has released his latest newsletter, which seems to have an Australian theme to it. Other than that it doesn’t really any Tool news that I can see. Perhaps the theme is a sign that us Aussies will get a fourth 10k Days tour to keep those creative juices flowing!

Tool September Newsletter

Blair posted the Tool Newsletter for the month of September. Not really much to report except that Danny & Justin have been fishing, and that perhaps I should too. As much as I love the great outdoors, there is no time for fishing, as I have a Tool Top 10 to complete!

August 2013 Tool Newsletter

Blair has posted the August 2013 Tool newsletter, and it discusses his recent wisdom tooth removal as well as some movement in the Loft: The first thing that I noticed was that some of the band’s equipment had been moved back to their usual places, meaning that the guys had probably delivered the goods to MJK, and were now back in their ‘normal’ writing session mode. Then I saw further… Read More »August 2013 Tool Newsletter
