Yeah me too. People are pissed saying you can just click the link and not have to be a tool army member. Doesn’t really bother me I’ve been a member for a year. A lot are already sold out too thank god I went for it and got em!
Re: New Album Touring
I canceled my place in line, because I am just a “casual fan”. I hope somebody late to the party got the tix they wanted. $1000 was too steep for me. Me and three friends will enjoy the show from the nosebleeds for 400z

Keep trying man!
Re: New Album Touring
That's a bit messed up. I wonder if they'll validate membership on the back-end though. Buyer beware.rshforgothispw wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 6:19 am ...you can just click the link and not have to be a tool army member.
So Long, and Thanks for All the Tool.

Le sigh...Kittaan wrote: ↑Sun Sep 01, 2019 8:06 am In the past, “ToolArmy” was mostly about the Collective Unconscious site, which crashed and burned ages ago. There was the occasional presale and collectible offered, but that was the exception, not the rule.
Since the community died, IMO, TA has just been a massive cash grab as it doesn’t offer much bang for the buck for most. The presales I’ve participated in have been a total clusterfuck, often crashing servers and pissing most off.
I sincerely hope they have prepared well for this one, but the fact they have offered next to zero details on how it’s going to be administered leads me to the conclusion it will be same old.
Prove me wrong TA!!

My feeling is that they will not want to do meet and greet by the end cuz of the plethora of retarded fans that they will meet at the first few shows.
I don’t have a full sleeve tattoo of Adam to show him just want to thank the guy for getting me into playing guitar.
Don't do it! Not sure when VIP sessions started being a thing but there is something so very gauche about these expensive opportunities for fawning. Maintain your dignity and spend your money on the best seat you can and a nice meal beforehand. And if one day you happen upon one of the guys in the real world express your thanks certainly because I do think that would be so much more meaningful than saying it to an audience paid to be captive.
I couldn’t agree more Liz. $500 is hella steep unless you’re making bank, just get really good seats and a nice meal/drinks before/after. I’ve been a fan for a long time but meeting them has never been a want of mine. It’s all about the music man, that’s pretty much it. Good luck to all those seeking tickets and to those who have already been shafted I feel for ya. Hopefully when they make their way to Oz they’ll have their shit together.

The sound check that is included with the VIP is really neat. They even asked for requests. I need to be sure to request a song they don't play live.

Re: New Album Touring
The thing is, with ticket sales as fucked as they are, This shit for $500 dollars is a good value. A decent seat is going to cost $250-300 on the scalpers market and ticketmaster is going to get almost as jacked as toolband. For just a little more, you get good extras and a good seat, without paying a scalper.BlackHole83 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 7:48 amliz wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:50 amMy opinion is probably quite unpopular but you are certainly entitled to it.rshforgothispw wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 4:28 am man I’m still on the fence about these VIPS someone has an hour to convince me in either direction. I know the pieces fit, I studied the numbers in Southern France.

Got in for both Staples shows, but what a pain in the neck! Owe a friend for helping out.
Fyi, I checked just now and VIP tickets popping up again, including Staples show on 21st. May be some cc declines and they are throwing back in queue.

I plan on using AXS app for the staples center show. It’s listing the tickets as 59-149$. How fast do you think it will go? I will have the app ready to go once the tickets go live. Screw Ticketmaster.
Re: New Album Touring
Completely agree! I was able to grab VIP! Ticketmaster is Fucked and you are going to end up paying out the ass for even decent seats at these shows. My buddy swears by DAY OF ticket purchases on Ticketmaster. I'm more of a planner with kids and such but he has got great tickets at face value buying them the morning of the show.Boldizar wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 9:39 amThe thing is, with ticket sales as fucked as they are, This shit for $500 dollars is a good value. All well Whatever, Nevermind

Are there any rumours/news about upcoming european tour dates?

Re: New Album Touring
If I were rich I would just buy bot programs and resell the damn tickets at cost. Actually it wouldn't cost that much, so I'm surprised people don't do this. Like for example, if there were a forum filled with fans of a particular band who have a hard time getting tickets.... either they could combine funds and rush AXS with bots, OR if there were just a couple of fans on such a forum with some spare dollars they could probably secure tickets for the entire forum. Just saying haha
Re: New Album Touring
Not much that I've heard. I think March/April is likely when they will be in Australia. Wouldn't rule out another run of summer dates in the EU thoughHullabaloo92 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 11:31 am Are there any rumours/news about upcoming european tour dates?

Re: New Album Touring
So, that Danny quote in a French magazine (Europe in march/april) was incorrect then?hellboy wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2019 5:38 amNot much that I've heard. Not that I have anything to back this up, but I believe they are a good candidate to play Coachella, mid-April.hellboy wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2019 5:38 amNot much that I've heard. Re: New Album Touring
$500 is fair considering stub hub is $400+ for poor lower level seats. What's not fair is VIP is TA only. Some fans just dont want to be in a club. I am guessing some poor dude is going to go thru all the VIP purchases and check membership and hopefully offer those not in TA to buy in. It would be harsh to just cancel non TA VIPs.Shed523 wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 11:14 amCompletely agree! I was able to grab VIP! If TM is accurate, there is no mention of public VIP tickets, only platinum. They could have made this clear on the original tour announcement. Yeah.

Re: New Album Touring
You didnt even need TA to buy the VIP tickets. So there are people who paid the $50 to get TA, then didnt even get to buy the VIP because they went so quick, because people quickly figured out you didnt even need TA at all to access the page to buy tickets.
