Let me at least dream of a live DVD even just for a day or two

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
haven't we agreed that 10,000 days was just a decoy album and the actual album is still about to be released?
(ps. i f*****g love 10,000 days. a vinyl would certainly tease me a lot)

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
For non vinyl collectors, a vinyl release of 10K days is equivalent of a new pillow, probably less actually. It's essentially a re release of an album we've already owned for 16 years. Give us some visual live content ya carntz!

Vinyl is wack. What we really need is a 2001-2002-era live DVD.

All power to those that are into it but yeah, to me it's just a re release of an existing product. May as well be another issue of fear inoculum as far as I'm concerned.

Don't think we'll ever get a live dvd but I'm down for a live album or five.
Who even has a dvd player anyway?

You don't actually think Tool will do something new right?Busty McCracken wrote: ↑Tue Nov 15, 2022 2:08 pm All power to those that are into it but yeah, to me it's just a re release of an existing product. May as well be another issue of fear inoculum as far as I'm concerned.

Can’t tell if you’re joking Ty, but The Swell Season was an amazing band. Still love them despite having watched somebody kill themselves on the stage during a show.

We've discussed them before old man.
Also you can't just leave it at that, story time?
Edit: "On August 19th, 2010, during a concert by The Swell Season that was taking place at The Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California, a 32 year old man (later identified as Michael Edward Pickels) left his seat at around 10pm, climbed to a rooftop approximately 20–30 feet above the stage, and, just after the band had finished playing "When Your Mind's Made Up", jumped to his death, landing just a few feet away from singer Glen Hansard"
What the heck, what a choice of song

Remember this from Danny back in March:
But then remember back in 2013 when Danny said we'd get the new Tool album pretty soon, so...He didn't elaborate any further, but knowing that TOOL already have new stuff in the tank is a very promising sign. Additionally, Carey revealed that the band are prepping a live DVD that he says will be "a good mind-blower for all the hardcore fans."
"Most of it will be from the Lateralus tour from 2002," Carey added.

It will be a cassette edition of Fear Inoculum - you heard it here first
