Typical Raven response. Get defensive and ignore the actual question entirely and post about something else. Go jerk off to a Fionna Apple album. Like I said take it to the Grudge. We are going off topic. I had a question, got a few answers. Moving on.Ravenpig wrote:

HILARIOUS that you of all people would make a comment about what music one jerks off too
Anyway, I'm glad the Cedar Park show came through after all. Not too far from me too.

Thanks, I'm sure I will.
I'd ask who from here will be there but I'm terrified to meet most of you in person.

CHANGE OF DATE FOR MEXICO CITY SHOW
Due to unexpected circumstances, Tool's show on March 18th at Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City has been moved to the following day, March 19th. Tickets already purchased for the March 18th show will be valid for the new date on the 19th. Also, tickets for the new date are STILL AVAILABLE at http://www.ticketmaster.com/mx.

I hope they don't have seats on the floor. Tool should see what mexico is capable of, I can imagine shit going down on the Jambi breakdown...

Actually, unless they played here (Pensacola) or Tallahassee, New Orleans is way closer than any other potential Florida stop. Plus, New Orleans is a really great city to see live music in.

Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
Can anyone who ordered a VIP pass for the earlier posted Tool shows let me know what taxes were applied? Are they at CA rates or the state the show will take place in?

Well, it is a Sunday...................
It's just that drive down the 15 is boring as fuck, aside from a stop at Stone in Escondito to get shit-faced.

That Sunday is my birthday! 3:16 the year of our lord 1985! I am the chosen one (see John 3:16). So I like to think they came to SD just for my birthday. Thanks Tool!

seen'em everywhere man
Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
When I drove from LA to SD it didn't seem quite as long and boring as marcus makes out. If it were only a couple of hours drive to see Tool I can't think of anything that would stop me.
Edit: I went down the highway along the coast rather than the inroad route.

Just so I know once the tour starts (I plan on going to Cedar Park and want to avoid spoilers), is this thread spoiler free?

^muahaha. Tyson ya dick and that was funny. Thanks blackhole, I was stoked to see more dates this morning on the good ol Facebook. I think that's the first time toolband(Blair) has caught me off guard. I hope to be meeting some friends from Utah for the Vegas show and getting back to SD for my bday celebrations and second show in two days.

Re: General Tour Discussion Thread
I'm asking because I won't be able to get online and order them myself, as I'll be in my classes. I want to let my Dad know beforehand how much of a gap he'll have between Thursday and Saturday, because he's ordering it for me and I'm writing a check to him as soon as I get back home this weekend. If there's anyone who could let me know about this, I would really appreciate it.xZ1mM3r wrote:youre paying 500$ and your worried about the $50 bucks MAX youll spend in tax??Ascension5 wrote:Can anyone who ordered a VIP pass for the earlier posted Tool shows let me know what taxes were applied? I can promise you I've spent more than $500 in my life on Tool memorabilia and their albums. There's almost $200 in my posters alone. I own every album, a copy of Salival, almost every released album on vinyl, their DVDs, the list goes on. If I enjoy this band enough that I want to put the money I've earned from working myself down to go and meet one of my favorite guitarists of all time, and see the band that changed my life for the better and have that whole experience, then I will do it. I don't need your opinion. If all of you (not saying you, specifically, but quite a few others on this board) burned-out "former" Tool fans have some gripe against the VIP passes, you know what, go blow up The Grudge. Go for it. Carry on. But don't get in the way of the appreciation of other people who are sincerely excited to see them and have that experience.
