I never heard Doors live either. When they do tour I hope they play some of the Cog stuff- this song is a must. The first 4-5 minutes are orgasmic. The rest is kick arse!

How can a band like that not get the world recognition they deserved? It's mind-boggling.

Imo they're up there with Tool.

Nah fuck that. If their material isn't strong enough to stand on it's own then they should give it away.

'The New Normal' was their best work for sure. More spontaneous than 'Sharing Space'.

Your Word Of The Day was used poorly today, Tyson.
e·lic·it
verb
1. evoke or draw out (a response, answer, or fact) from someone in reaction to one's own actions or questions.
"they invariably elicit exclamations of approval from guests"
Perhaps you meant Exude?
ex·ude
verb
1.discharge (moisture or a smell) slowly and steadily.
"the beetle exudes a caustic liquid"
You're welcome.

Absolutely agree. I am very interested to hear the new Occupants tunes. I'd rather hear the whole album at once, but this is an interesting approach. Was very bummed Cog broke up before I had a chance to see them live.

Looks like Faith No More might be on the road again:

Not sure I can get behind them being below Soundgarden on the bill though.

Agreed.

I wish FNM would come out with an album already and I wish that Soundgarden didn't anymore.

To give Soundgarden some credit, at least they did a new album, and it wasn't completely terrible. As much as I like FNM, without a new album coming out, it's just a cash grab to me (one I would willingly take part in I may add).

I saw Kobra and the Lotus last year with Fear Factory. They were not great.

Yep I'll line up to be raped and pillaged for that tour. :)

Who wasn't great? I saw Fear Factory on that tour last year and they were pretty darn good.

Well that is ok then, they were a consummate professional band that evening and I did walk out of there very impressed. So glad you are not missing, I read the rumours...
