The bloke and I watched Snowpiercer the other night. Not too shabby at all. An entertaining flick with some good twists and turns. I'm not sure if the lengthy Korean soliloquy towards the end was meant to have subtitles though...

Hey Ziggy nice to chat with you. Yes it was cool. We were just cruising for a new SciFi and happened upon this about a week ago also.

new still from Sin City. I love her. she stole the show in 300.

EDIT: "300: Rise of an Empire", not "300". 140 million plus in gross sales since it's release last month and this guy can't figure out what movie I'm referring to.

Is that Lena Headey? That's the only woman I remember from 300. Unless she was the hunchback.

It's not nitpicking. I honestly didn't know if she was in 300 or not. I haven't seen that movie in like 7 years and I haven't seen Rise of an Empire either.

Cast: Jena Malone. Reese Witherspoon, Josh Brolin, Joaquin Phoenix, Owen Wilson, Benicio Del Toro, Martin Short, Maya Rudolph

If you're into that sort of inside-baseball prognostication, this is a good piece on why they'll surely move it:

So Stephen Colbert is taking over for Letterman but the character he uses in his current show is dying with it.

Am I missing something here? I'd guess only the most hardcore of his hardcore fans know what he's even like without that character. Is this a good idea?

Why would CBS hire him without using what's most famous/appealing/etc about him? (Or at least a tweaked version of it, I know the heavily political satire character probably wouldn't fly on regular tv)

I'm not worried about him, I'm sure he will do more than fine.

I'm wondering whether the bigger audience will accept him or not.
