Re: Live Shows, Tours, etc.

Unless that 30th Anniversary show also cost $30, I'm not sure I'm super keen on blowing money on a band who were pretty underwhelming the last couple of tours.

That said the setlists look great.

Re: The Grudge (WARNING: It Hapenned!!)

Complaining about setlists is common among all bands really. There's no such thing as a setlist that suits everyone. I still think they should play more new stuff than "hits" (not sure I'd consider deep cuts from Opiate and Undertow hits though). I'll be disappointed if I don't get to see Fear Inocu...

Re: Tool Oz + NZ Feb 2020 Tour discussion

Still good non-GA tickets available for Sydney so I hear, so perhaps not selling as strong as Melbourne. Given that we haven't heard about a second show, I am now starting to question whether there will be. The good news is tyson, you can use the money you saved for the ticket for a higher class hoo...

Re: Tool Oz + NZ Feb 2020 Tour discussion

It is ridiculous, and not unexpected. Today seemed to be my lucky day and I managed to score 4 GA tickets for Liz Lucky you, indeed! Did you do anything special? ...or just wait for that 10 second countdown screen to change? I did nothing special at all. Just waited patiently. I think it was just m...

USE THE APP BROSWER IS USELESS
Typically it's a user error. The App is just a browser in an app. The key is to not have too many adblocky plugins and VPNs

Re: Tool Oz + NZ Feb 2020 Tour discussion

Presales for the first NZ show seemed to sell out pretty quick, with a second NZ show added seven minutes after they commenced.

I'm sure we'll see a similar story for the Sydney and Melbourne shows.

Re: Tool Oz + NZ Feb 2020 Tour discussion

Kinda depends on the seat really. I was in literally the back row of the Sydney Ent Centre on the 2007(?) tour and it was ok at best. Felt like I couldn't have been further from the stage. In the better "gold" seats I expect it's a more rewarding experience. I prefer the atmosphere of standing shoul...

hey everyone. just wanted to take a second and spread the word on the site i put together for TOOL posters. I got my first back in Toledo in 2012 and have since wondered why an archive wasnt out there yet. with the unexpected attraction (hysteria?) with the FI tour prints, I figured I'd give an arc...

Re: What are you watching? Film/TV

Apologise was a poor choice of word. I too was being silly. What I really Meant was that once you do see it and let's assume for a moment you enjoy it, perhaps a comment such as "I have to admit, I was totally wrong on this one. You picked it Tyson, congratulations. Here have some orange sherbert" ...

Well once you've seen it, if you enjoy j expect a formal apology in here ala Kevin Rudd style
Not sure I understand what I have to apologise for? An opinion is an opinion. If Tyson has taken genuine offense then an apology from me will achieve nothing.

You're not a very big fan of admitting when you're wrong hey ? Or is that more just an online persona?
As I said I haven't seen it yet. I don't doubt it's good. I still think the trailers looked bad.
