Cheers guys. I like the sound of tidal for the sound quality so might trial that for a month and see how it goes. Just need to make sure it has all my favorite artists and its easy to use. Can you just make playlists up out of any random artists on there?

I wouldn't sweat it about the catalog. Unless you're into quite obscure artists, they're all much the same. The main reason I like Google Play is the upload function, and that's probably more for bootlegs than unlisted artists.

You can make Playlists on all services. Most of them offer curated playlists, some curated by real people, some by algorithm. GPM for example has a "Tool Radio" type function, that will play what it thinks are related artist to Tool. mileage varies on this, and I find I rarely use playlists that aren't created by myself anyway.

Most of them will give you suggestions on artists you might like, and will also give you info as to new releases.

If you sign up to Tidal Premium the free trial only last half a month.

From what i gathered Roon Labs are the best streaming service out there, they have something to do with Tidal, maybe partners. A lifetime subscription cost around 550$ and the yearly one around 120 from what i recall.

I predict album of the year! Judging only by FI. Both D/I are great songs live but they will not compare to the studio version I suspect. I'm absolutely floored by the production of FI. FEAR INOCULUM WILL BE EPIC!

Looks like amazon may have oversold the preorders on the limited edition. I ordered 2 right when they went on sale, and got an email confirmation the same day for my order for 2 CDs. Then I received another email yesterday stating my order was scheduled for delivery on the 30th......but only for 1 of my orders. The other order is still pending. A friend of mine who preordered later in the day received no email yesterday. Anyone else seeing the same?

I also ordered from target and haven’t heard anything from them.
