Guys I have 3 copies (will have 4 copies Tuesday) and have been chatting with Matt who’s in New South Wales/Sydney. He’s obviously getting one copy but that would leave 2 more (or 3 if you wait til Wednesday) that would be up for sale.

One of them does have the shrink wrap taken off cuz I opened it and looked for any differences. But it’s all there, download code and all. It’s a bank holiday here in the states so I can’t even ship this until Tuesday so I dunno if you guys can sort something out with Matt to consolidate shipping costs. I know Aussie land is big but I’m just throwing it out there to see if I can help. I’m asking $45 American bucks for the cd cuz that’s what I paid.

Let me know by Monday cuz Matt is getting one either way I think

Nah he went with the US option I think mate. I had the US version originally ordered but cancelled it once the Aus amazon sales came online the day after or so. Cancelled the US order and replaced it with the aus option thinking Id get it sooner. Oh the irony.

Mine was shipped from New Jersey on the 30th and no updates since. No emails about any further taxes. I guess we will see. Fucking shit show man. Really wish these guys would address this. I hate to say it, but it lingers in the back of my head. As much as I’ve loved TOOLs music over the decades and over the moon with FI- it does piss me off they don’t give 2 shits about their fans abroad, and how much we are getting shafted. Weak sauce.

If you paid the import tax deposit through Amazon, my understanding is that you shouldn't be charged for customs and VAT a second time since the deposit is supposed to cover that. My package cleared customs without extra charge and I'm in Europe as well (the deposit was added automatically to my order on top of the shipping cost, but it may differ depending on which country you live in). I would get in touch with Amazon and possibly the customs as well if it turns out you already the deposit.

The other thing that gets me on this whole debacle is the multiple quotes I've seen in recent weeks from several band members saying how thankful and appreciative they are of their fan base. The old actions speak louder than words springs to mind
