Didn't see this posted here. Danny uses the Ludwig kit for some of the Fear Inoculum track as well.

I know the pieces fit, I studied the numbers in Southern France.

All of them I expect. I don't think the comment was directed at one member. Anyone who's been in a band (or sports team) knows you have good and bad nights. I don't think Justin was hinting at anything deeper than that.

Yes! I've been enjoying these as well, so fun. It's heartwarming to know once Tool is done and dusted, DC will still be grooving endlessly with talented musos in cramped jazz spaces.

- You like noisy music?
- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.
- You don't like to think? What do you like?
- Never thought about it.

Little bit off-topic, but I'm just back from a "Rodrigo Y Gabriela" show and they (once again) used Tool songs as intro to their show :D
First "Invincible" started, followed by "The Pot", that's when they got on stage.

Btw: AMAZING musicians, highly recommended!

Just received my Revolver box set. Nice little addition to my TOOL collection in my den. :D

Pneuma is going to be orgasmic live. If they don’t play it, I’m going on a M0G-ish strike.

MAYNARD JAMES KEENAN TALKS RUNNING'S IMPACT ON "ODD" VOCAL RHYTHMS WITH SAMMY HAGAR

Tool frontman reveals high school roots of "strange" time-signature singing in new 'Rock & Roll Road Show' clip with former Van Halen vocalist

In a new episode of his Rock & Roll Road Trip With Sammy Hagar, the former Van Halen singer travels to Jerome, Arizona to meet up with Tool and A Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan at Keenan's Caduceus Cellars winery. The two have a sit-down and bring up Keenan's off-kilter sense of songwriting and where that penchant for unusual time signatures began.

"You have a phrasing ability that is genius," Hagar explains before going deeper into the advanced techniques used in Tool's music. Keenan's response reaches all the way back to high school for explanation.

"I remember running cross-country in high school, and everybody has their own breathing rhythms, right? It's just supposed to be in-out, right?" he asks. "I was actually running to the [footsteps]. So, if you're going over hills, or down hills, or in chuck-holes, or whatever, my breath would follow those rhythms."

I saw this link to the Magazine but didn't see the full video on here. Not really much to watch...I'd skip the first 14 minutes

Asking Alexa to play 7empest by Tool and she says "playing sevenempst" which makes sense, but I ask her to play Tempest by tool and she still finds it. Random shit...

New Artical up
Thanks!

FTA:
Keenan asks — then answers — the question fans may be wondering, even as they’re diving deep with FI: “Will it take us that long to do another one? I hope not. I would hope that we would learn something from the process and not skip any steps, but just trust our intuition, trust our choices, and just go, ‘OK,’ and live with it, embrace it. If you make a mistake, learn from the mistake.”

This seems like a pretty definitive statement on the whole "is this their last album" discussion

This is almost as hilarious as the wax candle on here that likes Sturgill Simpson.

Anyone else receive their CDs from the 1 day toolband release? Mine just came, and they are hand-numbered on the cover under the shrink wrap.
Yes, I am the same Greasy from the hubs (remember AMT?)
