Those with glass house spelling mistakes shouldn't throw grammar Nazi rocks.
But yes 100% agree along with FI.

Anyone been to a 'rock' type concert at Brisbane Entertainment Centre lately? Does the floor have seats like it appears the US concerts do, or is standing/GA just a free-for-all like years gone by? I'm thinking of getting VIP tickets purely for good seats, but that can be fucked if any GA Standing jerk can push their way to the front (of which I'll be if that's the case). Alternatively, do VIPs get let in early?
Re: Tool Oz + NZ Feb 2020 Tour discussion
Yes for $700 you get in early and the VIP comes with a GA ticket.

There is standing, last time I saw TooL there I was seated and that was crap. Not the best venue IMO. And yes VIP's get early entry.

Thanks. Not sure the extra $520 is worth it for me then. $180 pushing jerk here.

In all honesty up front sucks. The sound will be muffled and views restricted given their stage production. Put me down for about 20 metres back from stage or so thanks

This VIP package seems similar to the current US tour VIP, other than the GA ticket. I think all of the US dates had seated tickets. Oh, and no ToolArmy presale. I imagine that would have been nice for anyone interested.tys0n wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 12:55 pm I've heard Lateralus so many times, give me Parabola & Pot.
Sorry Busty.
Anyhow Sydney night 1 & 2 & if I can get a Brisbane ticket there as well
Also no presale for toolarmy members or VIP packages
Also the VIP package has been scaled back and only includes a GA ticket
Fans will have the opportunity to purchase a limited edition VIP Package! The packages include:
— One (1) General Admission floor ticket to see Tool live
— Early access to venue
— Exclusive access to Tool’s soundcheck
— Commemorative group photo with members of the band*
— Limited edition merchandise kit featuring a special garment and other exclusive VIP merchandise not available anywhere else.
— Access to exclusive VIP pre-show area (includes food and cash bar)
— Dedicated check-in area
— On-site experience host
So Long, and Thanks for All the Tool.

Is the GA area at Rod Laver sloped?

Yep that's where it's at once ya hit 30's. Close enough to get the atmosphere, far away enough to get a good view and sound.hellboy wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 7:58 pmYeah, I'm about the same. Yes that's the balance. I find the seating puts you somewhat outside of the action. Usually off to one side in the standing will get you closer with a decent view. The more people in front of me and the stage the less I see.Busty McCracken wrote: ↑Thu Nov 14, 2019 9:00 pmYep that's where it's at once ya hit 30's. I'm one of the many guys who stand in front of the mixing desk arms folded looking bored.

Hahaha, I really wish I'd thought Rod Laver TENNIS STADIUM before I'd asked that question but I do thank you for your straight reply.
