- Yes. The louder the better. Stops me from thinking.

And Dead Cross do a Black Flag cover as well:
Mr Bungle and Dead Cross sound like more or less the same band to my ears (though I suspect when we hear their non-punk cover tracks they will seem a little more distinctive). While I'm cool with Mike find a bit of rejuvenation in the punk/thrash type genre, one band that does it is probably enough.

It's a very Mr Bungle thing to completely go against any expectations and do something different. It makes sense when they say they started as a thrash band too. Saying that though, call me Mr trapped in the 90's if you must, but I like my mr bungle to sound a little more... Bungle

They made it clear that's what the current Mr Bungle was going to be, so it was no surprise. Just odd to see Mike plugging two bands at once that sound more or less the same - I expect more variety!Busty McCracken wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2020 11:26 pm It's a very Mr Bungle thing to completely go against any expectations and do something different. Goodbye Mr Bungle. It was nice while it was good. But I don't know you anymore....

I don't hate the track, but it sounds like it just may as well be a Dead Cross album a this point. I'm curious as to how the whole album will sound, but it's pretty clear it's not the Mr Bungle of old (nor are they really pretending it is)

Sounds like their first demo
