LOLZ... NOOICE!!!
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
i thought i already answered this kinda ? it sucks. How else is there to feel about it. Its also really fn' annoying cause you hear about it everyday, so i more less dont listen that much, only when something changes thats more news. Like Monday we went into the ''Red'' zone. a little less restrictions but its still very much the way it is anyway. Springs coming so things will get a tad lighter. My area is pretty good though, its really not that bad here but you still gotta be safe which i am. i still clean groceries too which is annoying but i do it. Anything that doesnt have to go in the fridge i just let sit for a few or so days. no cleaning for that shit.

From Tool Army
"Those of us who work for the band wish we could share more news updates that fans would find truly exciting… because we are privy to such things, though are not at liberty to reveal them (Oh, how our fingers tremble above the keys). Not yet, anyway, but the time is coming… and it’s coming sooner than later… that much we can tell you. Until normality returns, and touring is permitted, these things (yes, plural) we hint of are sure to excite the Tool faithful… yes, very much so, we would think… so stay tuned, and we’ll let you know when we are able. We only hope that we haven’t already divulged too much."

My bet is BMB is back from the desert, figured out the new TA admin login, and has a Kindle edition of his book that he wants to plug.
Kinda weird they never released the opiate video which they showed at the VIP thing a couple of years ago. Seems like an easy win.
@HB - have you filed a report from your adventures backstage and whatnot from the AUS concert(s)?

They've let us down so many times over the years , I can't say I'm getting my hopes up to much. Live DVD or salival 2 release would be incredible but fairly unlikely compared to say opiate clip , new film clip, vinyl release type deal.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
''We cant say'' piss off with that for once,eh ? Esp during these times! Heres an idea,''expect the unexpected'' right ? How about saying what they plan on releasing and stop the teasing for once. Is it three more copies of the same thing that arent much diff ? with a crappy video that i could care less to watch after seeing it once or twice ? Wheres, Mog ? hehe
I think they're going to release a VCD just for you,Tyson! not even SVCD - thats extra!

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Bob, how do you feel about Covid?
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Wow. I leave fourtheye for a year of pandemic and everyone is super down. I am excited about whatever they have planned. Maybe it will be shows for tool army members with strict covid protocols. California is opening arenas again soon, NYC arenas are already open at 25%, Texas is definitely open. I could see the dudes wanting to be on the frontline of bringing concerts back. Venue rents are probably super affordable for shows. I am sure their crew has been suffering during the lockdown (Junior has confirmed as much). Otherwise, whatever they release I am sure it will be great quality. I have never really been let down by releases. But yeah, the whole opiate video thing was weird.

Sooner rather than later, and before touring resumes.
Seems promising. Likely vinyl releases, maybe a live release (audio or video), opiate video or the pot video.
I'll take it. After 13 years of nothing they released an album and fulfilled their contract. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I like big butts... Wait not that one. I think they probably have a new found excitement for releases after getting out of a major labels clutches. Do what they want.

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I have to disagree with you Hellboy. None of this. There is something positive happening and I guess we will find out soon. From your list, the only thing I can agree with and hope for is the tour 2022.hellboy wrote: ↑Sat Mar 06, 2021 9:06 pm My odds on what is to come:

Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
So if you think it's nothing from the list, then what do you think it is? Danny having another baby?
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
Perhaps the video for the Pot? Otherwise I think you have some optimistic ones in that list.

...but, will the posters and blankets (made of old Tshirts) be some kind of gift for the fans or not?
Re: Random Tool Social Media thread
I'm thinking a new poetry novel from Blair.
